This recently constructed modern 2 bedroom attic apartment is centrally located in a restored residence in the historical town of Spilimbergo in Friuli in the North East of Italy.
Spilimbergo is a popular market town ideally situated to explore Friuli's rich heritage whether it is walking in the mountains, soaking up the sun in the coastal resorts of Lignano and Grado (also thermal baths), or exploring local towns: San Daniele (famous for its raw ham production), Collio the wine producing region or the elegant towns of Udine, Cividale and the Roman port of Aquileia. A short train/car journey will take you to Venice and Trieste.
Spilimbergo is famous for its School of Mosaics and the Roman Duomo which dates back to the 1100s. This interesting town has a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars and a popular market every Saturday.
In the spring/summer months there are many village festivals (sagre) from religious festivals to the popular ham festival 'Aria di Festa' in San Daniele. Spilimbergo hosts the Folkest music festival in the summer.
The airports of Venice, Treviso and Trieste are conveniently situated. Good train connections from Pordenone and Casarsa.
