After careful evaluation of various internet offers my son and I decided for the apt. of Laura and Alfred because of the very positiv references as below about the owners, the facilities and the pictures showing the view over Xlendi Bay, close to Victoria. This was my 3rd stay on Gozo since I've fallen in love with this island last December and I love it each time more.
The description says, that the apt. would not be suited for older people, however since there is an elevator from the 1st up to the 4th floor, I myself (62 years old) had not any problem. I would even recommend this apt. for those who like the mild but not hot climate in the low season, that is very healthy and agreable for older people and also far more quiet than in the high season. Ideal season to do some biking and hiking, even swimming in November on almost empty beaches gives a relaxing, restorative feeling, also no crowded sightseeing sites.
We found the apt. exactly as in the description, very nice, clean, marvellous view on friendly and sunny Xlendi and on the blue Mediterian Sea. There are heaters in every room for colder evenings and the kitchen with dining place invites you to do some cooking yourself and to have breakfast or meal on the balcony. Fast internet access is also fine.
I had arranged a rental car and bikes to explore also peripherical sites, however, also busses from Xlendi enable roundtrips around the island and to many places.
Alfred was very helpfull with information about facilities, with the hint for the bike rentals and helped to get things I forgot reforwarded home again.
Balance: My son and I had a wonderful and relaxed stay at this apt. in Xlendi. I can recommend this apt. to everyone looking for a central but quiet location with exciting views. I will certainly return again.

Owner's Response: We are very glad that our guests enjoyed their stay at our apartment in Xlendi. The reason why we classified our apartment as not suitable for older people is that there are about 12 stairs at the main entrance to the block. But it is true that we do occasionally have older guests who do not mind having to go up these steps to get to the level of the lift
