With its panoramic views over the undulating alentejan countryside this country house with its private pool is ideally situated to explore the fabulous alentejo and the algarve. Easy driving to the unspoilt beaches of the west coast -surfing,walking the rota vicentina or simply enjoying the beaches of the unspoilt resorts with their great seafood. The algarve with its numerous golf courses,aqua parks and more sophisticated resorts is also an easy drive. Vineyards producing fabulous red wines and olive oil can be visited. There are lovely old towns to explore ,lakes to fish in,fantastic bird life to see. For the adventurous canoe down the river Mira or quad bike at a local estate.
Lisbon can be reached by car or even train from the local station, Evora-a world heritage site within 2 hrs.
Walk into our local village for your bread in the morning or take the car it's just a 5 min drive. The town of Ourique with all it's amenities is only a 15 min drive. Restaurants offer simple traditional food that is cheap.
