It is located just on the outskirts of Bracciano in a quiet residential area and benefits from outside parking, use of communal gardens, playground where children can play safely away fro the road, tennis and basketball courts. It is also close to shops such as supermarket, bar and hairdresser and a local restaurant it is also nearby.
An urban railway connects Bracciano to Rome every half an hour reaching the heart of the City - Vatican City and St. Peter's Basilica - in about 40 minutes. Other 10 minutes to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Bracciano is a lovely medieval town by the lake widely used for sailing and is popular with tourists for its well-preserved medieval castle, which has hosted a number of events and weddings of famous actors such as Tom Cruise.
The town is surrounded by a spectacular countryside and the lake area is dotted with traces of Roman civilization with ancient Roman villas, roads, aqueducts and baths at Vicarello, the natural springs of the Caldara, and Canale Monterano, preserved in a natural park. There are modern hot springs spas at Terme di Stigliano in Canale Monterano and Terme dei Papi in Viterbo, which is a very important medieval town.
The lake offers many opportunities for sailing and other water sports and its clean water also make the lake popular for swimming. There are also two other historic towns surrounding the lake: Anguillara and Trevignano with their own distinguishing characteristics.
Nearby, there is Sutri, with its Roman amphitheatre, the tiny medieval stronghold of Calcata perched high on a tufa outcrop, and further north, Bagnoregio a personal favourite of Prince Charles and travel writer Rick Steves.
A few miles away at Cerveteri, on the coast, you can enjoy an unforgettable walk through the vast necropolis, visiting the famous burial tombs, which represent the interiors of wealthy Etruscan homes. If you want to swim or relax on the beach, the sea is just down the road from Cerveteri.
