La Marquetiere , a traditional Sixth century Touraine farmhouse is situated in a hamlet of Paulmy, a quiet rural village near the prehistorical site of Le Grand Pressigny. La Marquetiere surrounded and looking over valley fields and woods offers a stay in absolute peace and greenness in its comfortable 'gîte' 4 sleeps or in thier two charming B&B rooms. Animal movers will enjoy our two poneys and Sticky our dog. You will be charmed with the natural stones, the refined decoration, the environment and the warm welcome which will make you feel at home.. On site also two charming B&B rooms, 'La Salamandre' and 'La Lavande' with all confort and you may also have dinner in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.

Located not far from the very peaceful village of Paulmy where you can benefit from a tennis court and fishing corners in the river of Brignon. Ligueil, 6 kms away offers all essential shops and facilitites, restaurants, weekly market, heated swimming pool, minigolf You may also join by hicking, cycling or riding the country track which covers 100kms of the department. And of course within 20 to 45kms you may visit Loches, medieval town. Le Grand Pressigny Castle and Prehistorical Museum; Loire Castles and cellars and wineyards.
