Godelleta Vacation Rental house: Calicanto, Marisan

Our team have stayed in this great at least eight times because we often need to be at valencia's motor racing circuit. We found the lodge by chance and now we wouldn't stay anywhere else, especially as we need to be here mainly in winter spring and autumn. Some spanish villas and hotels are not geared up for off-season stays, but this special wood lodge is comfortable all year round. The lodge is a real home-from-home, nice furniture, well equiped and insulated so it is warm in winter. There are also electric fans in all the rooms for summer and heaters for winter, so the owners really thought about what visitors need.
The location is ideal. It takes a few minutes to get to the expressway into Valencia and you can be in the city in about 20 mins. There is also a huge comercial mall/shopping centre nearby with reasonably priced spanish, chinese, american restaurants and diners.
The pool at the lodge is private, very large and well maintained- cheers George! The bedrooms are clean & comfortable -especiallythe grand main bedroom with its large terrace. Anothe good point is that the linen and towels are included in the rental price -and there are always lots of clean towels. There is also an impressive collection of DVD's and books for the nights when you don't want to go out. We always look forward to staying at the lodge and George, Gina and the boys make us very welcome. It is such a great find that we knew that if we just stayed here while working we would be given a lifetime of greif from our ladies. So we have been back for summer holidays with the kids. The lodge is even better when you have time to laze around, play in the pool with the kids, BBQ and really enjoy it.

I loved the look of this property on the website - and it lived up to all my expectations.

This is the first time that I have arranged holiday accommodation for my family direct with the owner. Both Gina and George were extremely helpful - even arranging to meet and greet us at a spot nearby and show us to the lodge.

The lodge is everything it is described as and more. Extremely spacious, and homely, complete with all mod cons !

On our first day there (which was a Sunday), George showed us to the local supermarket so that we could stock up on some groceries. In fact, throughout the holiday Gina and George helped us by telling us of local markets, where to eat, and even the best places to park !

I would, and have, recommended this property to friends, and would hope to be able to rent with Gina and George again in the future.

We have never rented privately before but we were delighted with our choice to rent this property as my girlfriend and I, had a fantastic time.

The lodge is clean, cosy and extremely spacious (far too big for us). We particularly enjoyed the pool/sunbathing area which was a good location to benefit from the hot weather.

George and Gina (the owners) were very friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived and their advice about valencia was priceless, especially where to eat, drink and get the best deals!!!

A car is also essential but we found this an important part of the overall experience. The location is quiet (which we wanted) but surrounded by beautiful little towns which gave you a true flavour of valencia and valencia city and beach were easily accessible and there is loads to do.

We have recommended this lodge to our friends and family and we will definitely look to go back there in the next few years!
