This secluded domaine is approached by a 1/2 kilometre drive being surrounded by picturesque rolling hills and fields. There is a main barn house (used by the owners), a pretty C18th detached stone cottage to the east and a separate pigeonnier to the west. The properties are tastefully furnished to a high standard each with its own private secluded garden, terrace and BBQ area. There a large heated 13 metre swimming pool ideal for playing volley ball, a diving area plus a shallow paddling section for small children. There is an all-weather badminton court, a boules court, table tennis table, croquet and bicycles available. If you are a garden lover then you will appreciate Petites Cotes as the owners are keen gardeners! The five acre garden has an abundance of wild flowers with orchids during the spring, an iris bed and labelled arboretum with specimen trees and a wildlife pond. La Petite Maison is ideal for a family and Le Pigeonnier for a couple who want privacy and romance

This delightful C18th detached stone cottage is self contained being situated to the east of the barnhouse and Le Pigeonnier. It has a large drawing room with orginal period features including a stone fireplace and an old sink together with an east facing terrace with a table and chairs. There are three double bedrooms - a kingsized double bed on the ground floor with adjoining walk in shower room; two upstairs bedrooms with single beds (the larger bedroom has a balcony and steps leading to the garden). There is additional seating and TV on the landing and this area could be made available for a cot or small bed (on request only). There is a further bathroom and lavatory on this floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator,freezer, gas oven, microwave and washing machine. There is a large terrace outside the kitchen which has a canopy of vines and wisteria keeping the area cool and shaded. A wooden table and chairs provide additional eating space during the summer months

Perigord Vert is known as the most unspoiled part of the Dordogne being a paradise for country life lovers and an inspiration for artists. Verteillac is the nearest town just 8 minutes by car and simply buzzes all the year round. It has most amenities - baker, bank, bars, butcher, chemist, hairdresser, newsagent, post office, restaurants and boasts the 'best general store' in the Dordogne selling everything from groceries to furniture. There is a weekly Saturday market and the area has numerous and reasonably priced restaurants.There is a lovely sandy riverside beach at Aubeterre which is within easy reach of the domaine plus fishing, horse riding, tennis, walking, canoeing, golfing, medieval towns, Romaneque churches, prehistoric caves - to name just a few! Within an hours' drive is the Dordogne Valley and the wine regions of Bergerac and Pecharmant. Bordeaux, St Emillion and Pommeral are a little further away. There is an English speaking church at Bertric Buree with weekly services.
