Charming 1960s Hawaiiana beach cottage formerly used as a weekend ocean retreat by a family in Hilo. Inside are all the modern amenities for staying at the beach. The house's location is right on the water on a semi private cove with great snorkeling and fish viewing from the cottage's deck. A separate structure houses a new washer and dryer as well as beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. This is for singles of couples who want a real local Hawaiian experience, listening to the waves, viewing the reef fish and kicking back. Please be aware that the famous Kapoho Tidepools are literally right outside your door and the sound of fish jumping and turtles swimming may keep light sleepers awake at night.
