Luxury holiday rental suitable for family or golf 4-ball couples. Also excellent as an executive or corporate getaway. Gourmet kitchen with both gas and electric stoves, beautiful bar and plenty of space for entertaining or just relaxing and enjoying the water and mountain views. The nearby shopping centre houses a supermarket, a liquor store, a restaurant, a doctor, a pharmacy and a petrol station. In addition, there are numerous restaurants and golf courses in the vicinity. The estate boasts its own small private island connected by a pedestrian bridge. The island has a large pool, thatch shaded area and mooring points for residents' boats. The house itself is detached, modern and luxuriously appointed. The ground floor consists of a huge open plan lounge including a modern bar and an ultra-modern designer kitchen with a full range of appliances. The lounge leads, via full-width folding doors, to an undercover patio, a built-in gas barbecue, and a small swimming pool and garden.

Hartbeespoort Dam is a popular getaway for many locals from nearby Pretoria and Johannesburg. It is a popular boating and fishing paradise with numerous golf courses in the area. Bird life is abundant and there are many game parks nearby. The world-famous Sun City golf and casino resort is only 60 minutes away. The dam is situated on the main route to Sun City from both Pretoria and Johannesburg. During the FIFA 2010 World Cup, the location will be perfectly central to 3 of the host cities - Johannesburg, Pretoria and Rustenburg. The area is well served by various shopping centres, restaurants and medical facilities.

Notes: The house has a double garage with automatic doors and there is ample visitor parking in the driveway and road. The Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course of Pecanwood is in the adjoining estate and the Brits Country Club and Caribbean Beach Club golf courses are within a 10 minute drive. The Gary Player golf club at Sun City is about a 1 hour drive north-west. Johannesburg's northern suburbs are about a 35 minute drive and Pretoria's western suburbs are about a 25 minute drive from the house. Johannesburg's main International Airport (O.R. Tambo Airport) is on the east side of Johannesburg and is about a 75 minute drive from the house. There are no telephone land-line facilities in the house, though mobile phone and 3G/GPRS reception is excellent.
