Lekkerwijn can accommodate more than 12 people staying, but this needs to be negotiated with the owners. Lekkerwijn is furnished to a high standard, having earned 4 stars from the Tourism grading council of South Africa.

Lekkerwijn is in the heart of the historic Cape wine country close to Franschhoek and 15 minutes drive to Stellenbosch and Paarl. Walk to our 3 neighbouring wineries (Boschendal, Allee Bleue and Solms Delta) all of which have great restaurants, picnics and wine tasting. We are 10-15 minutes drive from a number of the top restaurants in the country, as well as the most historic towns/villages in the country (Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl), which all have museums, art galleries, gardens and houses of historic interest. Literally 100's of wineries surround us offerring wine tasting and great restaurants, gardens and art/culpture.

Lekkerwijn stables horses and riding is available next door at Delta Crest riding estate. Cycling is very popular in the area, both over the pass to stellebosch and up the valley to Franschhoek. Numerous gold courses are close by inclduing Pearl valley, Paarl & Boschenmeer, Devonvale, Stellendrift and Kleine Zalze.

Lekkerwijn is only 45 minutes drive from Cape Town, making it a good base to make day trips into cape Town if wanted. Many inland villages, winelands and sites are also within easy reach.
