A very well converted rustic farmhouse with magnificent views over the Perjoana valley from the garden. This beautifully converted little farmhouse is set in a very quiet part of the village of Reguengo Grande just 10 minutes drive away from the sea side town of Areia Branca and Lourinha. The property has a private sun terrace to the front of the main house, which is ideal for al fresco dining or just to relax and laze in the warm sunshine. There are two outhouses that have also been beautifully restored to comfortable accommodation. The house is surrounded by trees and meadows and is very private and secure. Enjoy a relaxing holiday in touch with nature!

Located within a short walk of the shops in Reguengo Grande, where you can find butchers, mini-markets, a post office and several cafes. You can take a leisurely morning stroll and stop for coffee at one of many cafés in the village.

There are 2 supermarkets just a 10 minute drive away in Bombarral where you can also shop for other local foods and excellent local wines. Historic Bombarral is the epicenter of this region and a visit to the Tourist information centre near the main Council building will be worthwhile. The house has some maps and brochures providing some information about all the local attractions.

The old spa town of Caldas da Rainha, well known for its natural mineral springs, can be reached within a 20 minute drive where you can take in the waters or just wander the old cobbled streets along its chic but quaint shopping enclaves or perhaps you can pick up a bargain in the daily fruit & vegetable market, in the heart of the old quarter, where you will find the best the region has to offer in terms of fresh produce.

There are also many supermarkets in the area to stock up on daily provisions.

If golf is your thing, then head off to the internationally acclaimed 18-hole championship golf course at Praia del Rey, which is a short 30 minutes by car. There are also many wonderful beaches at Peniche and Baleal that attract some of the best surfers from around the world and various well known surfing spots in that area too, amongst them the very well known 'Supertubos'.

Lisbon airport is only a 60 minute drive away. You can reach most places on the Silver Coast by using the A-8 or A-1 motorways that traverse in a north-south direction.

Whilst here, a visit to the medieval castle of Obidos is an absolute must. It draws over 3 million visitors a year and not without reason – It is a medieval gem and a world heritage centre with a well-preserved walled town that is over a thousand years old and is at the top of a hill so the views are really amazing.

30% Initial deposit payable immediately by bank transfer. Then 70% is payable by bank transfer 4 weeks prior to arrival.
