The house is situated 200 metres above sea level, right in the heart of an environmentally protected area, where you can walk under the shade of cork oaks and green pines contrast with the blue sea.
Owned by a photographer, the house was designed and decorated as an informal space with abundant natural light. All the rooms have wide windows that immediately connect us to the exterior; the kitchen is the central area of the house, providing us with long lasting moments of joyful gathering.
Every day you will see the Sun setting in the ocean in a different manner. That is why we have an outside shower turned to the west.
Monte do Pomarinho is situated in a 3 hectare plot where cork oaks predominate. Here you have the silence and the necessary space to enjoy your privacy.
Dream, is the first word that comes to our mind when describing this house in the heart of the Alentejo, a few dozen kilometres from Grândola and about an hour by car from Lisbon. A dream so near, a dream that day by day seems distant but which materializes when we meet this fully redone Alentejo house.
Boavista - Good View - is the word that comes to mind when we wake up in the morning with the Alentejo plains in front of us, Boavista when we are in the kitchen preparing a light meal and sit around the table to savour it, Boavista that we have when sitting on a sofa in the living room and the easy chairs on the porch.
Alentejo is a wonderful region with many wonders to discover, with wines, sausages and breads you will never find elsewhere, a genuine hospitality of the people, villages and unique places that dazzle all visitors.
The tranquillity of the plains, the typical Alentejo gastronomy, houses painted in white lime and blue frames around the doors and windows, the local people, the houses, and so many other things make this region a destination you cannot afford to miss.
