Situated on the Lindisfarne Reserves just meters from the glorious sandy beaches of Budle bay these truly unique and most charming former coastguard cottages stand in one of the most idyllic and desirable locations on the Northumberland coast.Grey Seal is a detached cottage next to 4 terraced cottages with stunning views over the dunes to Budle Bay and Lindisfarne Castle beyond.

Ground Floor: Split level Kitchen / diner - Electric hob and oven. Dishwasher. Fridge / freezer. Washer / dryer. Microwave. Living room - Multi fuel stove. TV / DVD. Wood floors. French doors to patio and garden. Bedroom 1 - Dbl bed.

First floor: Bedroom 2 - Twin beds. En-suite Shower room. WC & whb. Bedroom 3 - Twin beds. Bathroom - Bath with shower over. WC & whb.

Great sea views from upstairs and down. Lawned garden with patio area & BBQ. Parking for 2 cars. Use of communal laundry room. All power, fuel for stove, linen and towels included in rent. Some limited headroom upstairs due to sloped ceiling.

Budle Bay is a bird sanctuary and at low tide a vast expanse of sand is the home to countless thousands of sea and land birds.A haven for birdwatchers, this coastal area is a popular haunt of birdwatchers and naturalists in all seasons, with the winter months being particularly particular.

The walker can follow the coast to Budle Point, the southern entrance to Budle Bay, at low tide it appears east to walk across the narrow neck of shallow-looking water to the northern point but beware, it is highly dangerous and several lives have been lost in the attempt. The five mile walk around the bay is both pleasant and interesting.
