The accommodation offers three bedrooms, master with en-suite Jacuzzi bath and walk in shower, further bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, lounge / dining area incorporating the ultimate in furnishings, the two large sofas turn into additional double beds if required, sleeping up to 10 discerning guests seeking luxury accommodation, in a down town location this has to be the one. The property is close to all the amenities Canmore has to offer including shopping and dining, galleries, museums and of course Banff National Park!

Our family (from Saskatoon, Calgary and Medford, Oregon) needed a place close to Calgary where we could spend a few days together. Drumheller and Canmore were possibilities, but we couldn't find anything suitable in Drumheller. We found Mistaya Condo on the internet and it looked as if it would suit our desire that we could all stay in the same place rather than in separate hotel rooms.
We were more than pleased with the condo. It is clean, well-equipped, and there are more than enough comfortable beds for 3 families (3 couples, 2 teens and 2 younger girls). The view toward the mountains was great, and the location was convenient to just about anything we needed. Parking for 3 vehicles was a bit of a problem but we managed.
As another reviewer said, "What's not to like?" We highly recommend it for your vacation.
We travelled with my in-laws and the Mistaya was perfect for our accommodation needs. The condo is very spacious, but warm and cozy. The location is perfect to explore downtown Canmore and its charming shops and cafes. Safeway and Sobeys (now called something else) are just couple of blocks away for your groceries' needs.
The amenities are superb, including satellite TV, a Wii (if you have children), and its own garage (perfect for those who hire a car).
However, the most important feature of our rental experience was the excellent communication with Lindsay, the property owner. She was prompt and very efficient at answering our inquires and concerns throughout the entire process before our arrival. Her personal service and assistance was outstanding, making our vacation very memorable and worry-free.
This is our new lodging place whenever we come back to the Bow Valley. Thank you kindly, Lindsay!
The Mistaya condo is in a perfect location downtown Canmore. Located on the 3rd floor, it has a beautiful view. We have stayed at this condo twice for what has become an annual family trip to Canmore, because we love it so much! It is very spacious, and easily accommodated 6 adults and 2 young kids (and our two small dogs). We love staying here .....if someone wants to pop out to go shopping or take a walk, it requires no driving whatsoever! We typically take the time to just chill out when we go to Canmore, but we've also made trips in to Banff, gone dogsledding, skating at a nearby pond, taken family photos, enjoyed the spa down the street..... its such a relaxing place to be and the Mistaya condo is the icing on the cake.
When I first inquired about the condo, I was a little hesitant because the property owner/mgr lives in the UK (very far from Canmore!), but Lindsay is so responsive and has local resources set up that guests can call on if needed. Seriously, it's amazing how quickly she responds to any email inquiry or question despite the significant time difference.
You will not be disappointed with this fabulous rental property. We will be back again!
From my first contact with Lindsay I felt we would be on to a winner! She was so helpful over many months of planning our trip to Canmore for our son's wedding. The condo was lovely - spacious, warm (even in very cold outside temperatures), clean and homely. We had quite a lot of people dropping in to see us, all of whom were very impressed by the condo and the seemingly endless supply of mugs and glasses (in fact rather jealous!). Wonderful location for everything Canmore has to offer. Murrieta's food is fantastic and Communitea just below condo offers delicious lunches. Very easy to use buses to Banff which stop within easy walking distance. We would certainly return
Located one-hour West of Calgary and only 5 minutes from the Banff National Park, Canmore lies nestled along the banks of the Bow River in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Chosen as the site of the Nordic Ski Events (Canmore Nordic Center) for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, Canmore was soon attracting international attention as a major tourist destination. Sunshine, Norquay and Lake Louise are within easy distance of Canmore and offer the full range of winter sports while Lake Louise is the host of the this years Ski World Cup.
When the snow goes away its time to break out the rafts, canoes, mountain bikes and boots and hit the rivers and mountains in the area. If that's not your thing don't forget the numerous golf courses, leisure walks and spa's that surround this town, it truly has something for everybody. Not forgetting the world famous Calgary Stampede only an hour away, the chance to sample this celebration of Cowboy life is not to be missed.
