Large 10x5 m pool, heated if required (extra cost). Couple Only Discounts

This private and secure self catering villa is set in a rural position in the foot hills close to the historic town of Estoi. The property has orange groves to the rear with high surrounding walls for complete privacy and safety.. It has a large private pool with optional heating if required and a maximum depth of 1.4 metres ,For safety reasons due to the close proximity of the pool to the villa we do not consider the villa suitable for non-swimming infants and young children.The villa is very well situated for all things 'Algarve' , being only 8 klms, 15 minutes drive from Faro and the airport. Beaches, water parks, nature reserves and golf courses are all a short drive away. A 'Fastrak' Car hire service can be arranged with airport pick up and drop off.

The owners, who live in the adjacent property, are there to help out and keep the villa, terrace and surrounding area to a high standard. Many guests return annually.
About Paul Ketteringham

Paul & Christine purchased Casa da Vista from the previuos owners after renting the villa for holidays for several years.

Since then they have refurbished and modernised both the villa and the pool and terrace area.

It is now a very well appointed holiday home with everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Paul & christine live in the adjacent farmhouse so are available for friendly advice and help with all things 'Algarve'.

The villa is located approximately 20 minutes drive from the airport, yet in a rural setting, close to one of the oldest towns in the Algarve, Estoi. Faro is the nearest large town with a modern shopping centre yet having a historical old area. Faro beach is the nearest, approximately 15 minutes drive away; other excellent beaches and the Ria Formosa Nature Park less than 30 minutes away. The villa is a very short drive to the motorway which gives easy access to all the Algarve places of interest and Spain is 40 minutes drive away.

Booked the villa after reading reviews. Is as good as it looks in the pictures. Perfect location for exploring the area. Paul and Chris very friendly and helpful. Last thing we said to them was we want to come back next year. If going to the Algarve wouldnt stay anywhere else.

Fantastic, The perfect Villa

Having just spent a week at this fantastic villa we just had to write this review.
We are not easily pleased but when we first walked into the Villa we knew we had made the right choice. (the photos do not do it justice). The whole place was spotless and the pool area is just something else. A large heated pool (like a bath if you want it), BBQ, sunloungers, parasols and a shaded area with table and chairs. This area gets the sun all day and is totally unoverlooked so swimming costumes optional!
The villa is in a lovely setting away from all the noise but still only a short drive from the airport and all the attractions.
Last but not least the owners Paul and Christine are the perfect hosts. They made us feel so welcome and ensured we had all we needed when we first arrived. They were happy to help in any way they could and always had recommedations for eating out, shops, markets etc. They will leave you alone for the whole week if you want but in our experience they helped make our holiday.
If we go back to Portugal we wouldn't stay anywhere else and should be on top of your list if you are planning a trip to the Algarve.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Incredible villa, all in new condition, quiet place, good excursions, and very good hollidays, 5km for the neerest beach, 3 km to spain.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
