ALL YOU NEED FOR THE PERFECT HOLIDAY. Top level of duplex, apartment. All day sunshine, 2 bedrooms one with patio, sleeps 4. Fitted kitchen, satellite TV with DVD. Large bright lounge-dining room leading to south facing patio with table and chairs, BBQ and sun loungers. Ideal for Alfresco eating. An end position gives this comfortable accommodation magnificent views to the sea and mountains from the windows and south and west facing patios. Situated in a quiet area of TROPICANA on the West side of Nerja, with private parking. The community swimming pool (April-October) with a bar and restaurant is only a short walk and the beach is about 5mins walk. A pleasant walk of about a mile along the beach where there are several beach bars, or along the path by the road takes you to the pretty town of Nerja where the Balcon de Europa is famous for it's lively atmosphere, or you may wish to relax at one of the outdoor restaurants, or on one of the many beaches.

The pretty coastal resort of Nerja has much to offer, from all kinds of restaurants and shops to beaches and entertainment. Every Tuesday a market is held and the local supermarkets store all your needs. From Nerja such fascinating place as Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Rhonda and Cadiz are within easy reach. Just a short drive can take you to the Mountain village of Frigliana, east along the spectacular coast line to the famous Nerja caves, or Marina del Este, or west to other resorts with lovely beaches. A number of golf courses are within 30mins drive and tha Aqua park is about 20mins. Fishing and water sports are very popular, or a drive to Lake Vinuella where you can walk or just sit and relax. A favourite is to just saunter down to the nearby Playazo beach and sit out in the sun and sample some of the huge Paella cooked over an open fire by Antonio.

TROPICANA: TROPICANA is a quiet urbanisation on the West side of Nerja. Among the beautiful gardens is a large swimming pool and children's pool. There is a resident lifeguard, sunbeds, showers and a bar and restaurant. Casa Idillio is situated in a quiet area and is within a short walking distance. The Nerja Marinas Hotel is just across the road from the urbanization and has a useful supermarket open to everyone. There is also a bus stop near to it with regular buses going to Nerja or further and to Malaga.

Nerja: The beautiful coastal town of Nerja is about 30 miles east of Malaga, and is easily accessable via the new motorway. Prebooked car hire is advisable, but for those who just want a relaxing holiday, a bus or taxi can be taken from the airport. Nerja is roughly a mile from the apartment but is a pleasant walk either along by the sea ar on the footpath by the road. There are several small restaurants and bars along the beach front, including the one with the boat outside where you can get a super paella. You can also drive down as there is a car park beside the restaurant. Nerja itself has some wonderful restaurants of all types. It comes alive in the evening when it is nice to walk on the Balcon de Europa, where there are artists and dancers, music and ice cream sellers. You can take a ride on the little train or the more sophisticated horse and trap all around the town.

Casa Idillio : This light and airy apartment has everything to suit your needs for a memorable holiday. Clear directions will be sent three weeks before travel . Please note as this apartment is on the upper level there are steps from the car park up to the front door.

The Apartment is located in the western part of Nerja in a small and very friendly residential area. From there you have a lot of opportunities to visit beautiful places and cities. The town is a perfect opportunity to relax and forget the daily stress. You have a lot of beaches close by and to reach a beautiful bay you have just to go down the road. Or you can enjoy the beautiful view from the big balcony. For a quick cooling in the meantime, you can use the community-pool just a few steps away. The apartment is very comfortable and more than enough for 4 persons. Everything you need, whether dishes, television, grill or beach accessory you will find in the apartment. A very positive point is the very friendly contact to the owners and the support on-site. The apartment is appropriate for everybody who wants to relax and enjoy the Spanish south!

Relaxing holiday in Nerja

We found the apartment extremely comfortable and well appointed. The views from the balcony are wonderful of the sea and the mountains. We found the location was ideal; within walking distance of Nerja along the path by the beach, but in an attractive and quiet estate. Nerja is a lovely town full of Spanish charm with its narrow streets. There are plenty of different places to eat, but we also enjoyed going along the coast to other restaurants.

Great Apartment

The apartment is well equipped and clean with a fantastic large south facing balcony and a small west facing one. Ideal for those with small children/toddlers who wish to sunbathe while they have their afternoon sleep! There are steps up to the property so not ideal if you need to carry a pushchair with a small child/baby up and down them. There is a nice swimming pool with small childrens pool including a lifeguard a short walk away - we managed to walk with a 17 month old no problem there and back. There is also a great pub/snack bar/restuarant on site which is child friendly. You do need a car as it is out of Nerja itself so you can access the good supermarkets and more restaurants. Very peaceful location but if you are looking for a busy holiday it is not for you. There are not many good restaurants within walking distance so you would probably need to go into Nerja for this.
