Self-catering rental, ski in ski out to development, in Swiss Portes du Soleil

This modern luxury apartment which was completed in October 2007 is situated in the heart of the beautiful Swiss alpine village of Les Crosets, with access to around 650km of ski slopes and great walking and mountain biking in the summer. The property is virtually ski in, ski out. Restaurants, a mini supermarket and ski hire facilities are on the doorstep. The apartment is spacious with a large open plan living area with a real log fire (free basket of logs), an old piano, a dining area that seats up to 10 people and a modern well equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher). The living room looks over the Dents du Midi which glow pink in the sunset. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite shower room. It also has TV and DVD facilities. Bedroom Two has 3 single beds, which can be combined to make 1 double and 1 single bed. Bedroom Three has two single beds, which can also be combined to make a double. All bedrooms have ample cupboard space and mountain views from their balcony. There is a fully tiled family bathroom with spacious corner bath and shower. The 40' TV in the living room has digital access to UK TV channels, and a DVD player with cinema style sound. Free WiFi Internet access. Garage parking for 2 cars, private heated 2X3m ski/bike store.

The apartment and it's setting is perfect in every way with spectacular views in all directions. So comfortable and well appointed it is difficult to drag yourself out in the morning...in all the years we have been skiing this is the best accommodation we have used, even in North America. The photographs, as said previously, do not do it justice and 2 adults and 2 older teenagers had loads of space and privacy. Having been skiing in the PDS twice before we all agreed that Les Crosets offers the best area access and skiing in this area. The village was very quiet during the week we were there and we woke every morning to blue skies and two fresh dumps of snow at the start of the week, which was perfect and we couldn't have written the script better. The village is very quiet and just what we were looking for, and the best bit was that everyone there was friendly and helpful. The owners and local agents are very friendly and informative and I would have no hesitation in returning here or recommending the apartment to keen skiers.

We all agreed that in all the years we have been skiing, this was the best!!

Luxury apartment with direct access to slopes

As a family we spend a wonderful week in this fantastic apartment. The apartment is very well located less than a minute walking distance to the slopes giving access to the slopes of porte du soleil. Although Les Crossets has all kinds of terrain and less skiers than other parts of Porte Du Soleil
The very modern apartment has a very warm atmosphere, is well equipped, has very comfortable beds and more than enough space. Parking and ski storage in the building with an elevator to the apartment. Best plays to relax after a long day skiing.
Very nice and smooth interaction with the owners.
Everything just perfect and we loved staying there.

Skiing holiday in Les Crosets

A perfect accomodation for a skiing holiday in Portes du Soleil.
The appartment has great views, lots of space and a very well equiped kitchen.
And enough comforable chairs, which makes it a great appartment to return to after a day of skiing
The ski-slopes are very near, and Les Crostes is a good starting point for skiing all over Portes du Soleil.
In short: a recommendation!!

Excellent, spacious penthouse ski in/out

This was our 3rd stay in this apartment. We love it! It is super clean, really spacious and really well equipped. The beds are super comfortable and all made up with fresh linen and lots of fluffy towels! It is in an extremely convenient location - into the basement to get your skis and a short walk (2mins!) to the slopes (this year the snow was so good we skiied out the garage door down to the lift!). Indoor parking for two cars which is a real luxury and the overall building is extremely well maintained. There is a wonderful well equipped shop in the next building for everything including fresh bread etc. There are films, books, a fully equipped kitchen... We really recommend it and cannot fault it at all - we will be back! The village is easy to get to, small and friendly and you have the whole Porte de Soleil on your doorstep! We have always had brilliant snow and sun! Richard and Denise are excellent owners and the agents on site have always been really helpful. We will be back again next year!

Great Holiday

This is an amazing apartment - plenty of space, well equipped, great views. It is also very convenient for the slopes (almost ski in and ski out) and even with limited snow the skiing was great. The village is quiet but there are some nice bars and restaurants and we would definitely recommend this for families and small groups! We have already booked for next year!

Les Crosets is situated at 1660m, providing excellent access into the Portes du Soleil ski area. The Portes du Soleil ski area is one of the largest in the world, with access to over 650km of pistes and links to Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets, Chatel, Morgins and Champery. The Swiss 'Wall' is only 2 lifts away and the area caters for all ranges of abilities. Les Crosets is an easy 1.5 hours drive from Geneva and has good local transport links. There are plenty of facilities on the doorstep, with a ski school an easy walk away, and ski hire shops, supermarket and restaurants all within the development. In the summer there is an extensive network of walking and mountain biking trails. The 2007 Mountain Biking World Championships were held in Champery, only 15 minutes drive away. There are a wide variety of summer tourist attractions nearby, including Le Bouveret Aquaparc, Glacier 3000 and thermal baths at Lavey les Bains and Val d'Illiez.
