This listing contains modern and newly furnished one and two bedroom apartments , with an open plan living/dining room .The apartments are brand new, finished to a high standard, with new contemporary furniture, TV, wireless internet access & all mod.cons: dishwasher, wash. machine, ceramic hob, oven, etc. The development is portered & a parking space in the basement level is reserved for the flat. Landscaped grounds provide acres of communal recreation, with 3 acre waterside park & cycle path along the Thames.

However, please note that there is a construction site outside the building. The building works are between 9am and 5pm. This fact is reflected in the price.

River boat terminal is 5 min walk which takes you to Tower of London and London center. North Greenwich metro station is less than 10 min walk from the apartment.

The location is perfect for exploring all of London's attractions - only 15 minutes to the very centre of London (Westminster) direct by underground.

Location: The apartment is located in the Greenwich Peninsula, 10 minutes from North Greenwich metro station (Central London, Zone 2). The apartment is one of a set of contemporary apartments in a brand new award winning complex on the river Thames and near to the world famous O2 arena

Proximity to central London: It is perfect for exploring all of London's attractions - only 15 minutes direct by underground (Jubilee line) to the very centre of London (Westminster). Or take the new super fast London river boat service to the centre leaves from the Millenium Pier (6 minutes walk) every 15 minutes.

Local amenities: A 24 hour Sainsbury supermarket is within 10 min walk, and a convenience store 2 minutes walk.The O2 complex is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment, and is open night and day, with a mix of attractions inc. cinema, exhibitions, premier music concert events, nightclub and plenty of cafes and restaurants. The apartment is brand new ( 2011), very stylish, contemporary and beautifully furnished. It has one bedroom, one bathroom and an open plan kitchen, living and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The sleeping arrangements are: one large double bed in the bedroom and a large sofa beds which comfortably sleeps 1 adult in the living room. The apartment has a balcony with stunning views. It is equipped with TV and wireless internet access included in the price. Please note that there is a contraction site next to the apartment. The work is done between 9am and 5pm. This fact is reflected in the price.

great location, lovely apartment

For any traveller who wants to be near the city but away from the noise and busyness at the end of the day, this apartment is in an excellent location. Travel into London is quick and easy; there are good facilities for grocery shopping near to the accommodation and a very nice pub (the Pilot) a few minutes walk away. An added bonus is the Thames trail which is just at the rear of the building for anyone who likes walking, running or cycling. All the facilities of the O2 are 10 mins walk and a trip to maritime Greenwich (which I made) is simple and fast.

I was staying alone in the apartment for most of my visit and felt very secure; plus, it is comfortable, clean and feels spacious although it is only a 1-bed. There is an excellent wifi connection and TV with plenty of channels. The building is well insulated for sound. I knew about the construction going on beside the building, but in truth, this really wasn't a problem during my stay. There was a little noise on weekdays but it didn't start until after 8 and finished around 5 in the evening. There was hardly any activity building -wise at the weekend (none on Sunday).

I would definitely stay at this flat again and hope to do so. I have only one small request for the owners... would they consider installing black-out blinds? The flat gets lots of light (lovely!) but during the summer for me that's a bit of an issue. Otherwise, it's perfect!

It's in the best location. Good place to go out in the night or do running in the morning. Apartment was very clean and the apt. staff was very helpful. view was awesome. can see downtown. Very close to tube. walking from O2.
I'll check same property for my next time london trip.

Description accurate - but...

The app. was as per description and diposed of a very comfortable interior. The access to London was comfortable and easy. We felt very safe in this environement.
But:
The construction was very disturbing, during our stay the work often last vom 7 am to 9 pm! Foundation work was done!
The contact to the owner was very unsatisfatorily.

So good we stayed twice

We stayed in the One Bedroom apartment for 7 weeks, for one long and one very short stint. It was ideal. Everything was as stated in the listing, along with great views, warmth, comfort, safety and proximity to supermarkets and transport: on the Jubilee line we could be in Bond Street in 25 minutes. Special mention must go to Natalie who managed the mechanics of the apartment with great friendliness and professionalism. Do NOT dismiss North Greenwich when choosing a London locale for your visit. We really enjoyed staying here (and have a pint at The Pilot Inn).

Communication w/Owners:

From my initial inquiry, the owners/rental agents for this property were excellent in communicating all the details from: deposits, rental agreement, check-in/check-out arrangements, and even in offering services of help for the area and property if we should have the need for any. I was very impressed from the beginning.

We arranged with the owners to have a very early check-in of 9 AM. The owners were not able to meet with us, however, they did arrange for an assistant to help us get situated. The assistant was so nice, friendly & thorough in explaining how all of the appliances worked to going over what we needed to do check-out on our own the day of departure.

Property Condition Upon Arrival:
We rented the one bedroom apartment. Everything listed for amenities for the apartment were just as described in the listing. Additionally, the property has a well-informed and courteous concierge in the building lobby and the apartment is equipped with a very good call box with camera--handy for when we ordered delivery to the apartment, we could confirm the identity of the person we were letting in to the building, adding a nice sense of safety as well.

Extras not listed that were provided: Welcoming Guest book w/handy info, toilet paper, towel set, hair dryer, vacuum, blender, toaster, power converters, dish & laundry detergent.

Location:
It is just as described as well. On a daily basis we found ourselves using the tube station (North Greenwich Underground Station) which can be reached via 2 different walking paths. We would frequent the path to the station and O2 Arena that was alongside the River Thames as it provided a nicer view. Both paths are under 10 minutes walk from the apartment to the station or the O2 Arena.

Food and Restaurants:
In the neighborhood they are easy to access from either walking path mentioned above as the O2 arena has a great selection of bars and restaurants. There is also lively entertainment in the arena if you are seeking some nightlife, or even the cinemas. 2 min walk from the apartment to get to the Market, Pharmacy, Wellness Spa Facility and Cafe.

Internet:
Readily available with a hard line/Cat 45 cable or over Wifi and the speed are strong and fast. We had no problem connecting to the internet with the simple instructions left by the assistant that gave us the walk through.

We would stay here again! We highly recommend this property & these owners to anyone
