The Rustico is situated at the feet of Euganean Hills, in the little village of Arquà Petrarca: a gracious medieval village in province of Padua, said 'the pearl of the Euganean Hills', for its beauty. The location is ideal for relaxing and full of nature holidays and for people interested in discovering the traditions of the territory. In the garden there are at your disposal barbecue and table for have lunches under the shadow of the trees or under the gazebo, the swimming pool, plays for children and a lot of green space! Besides the location is optimal to reach the Thermal of Abano and Montegrotto (10 Km), the large and small towns of Veneto, like Venice (60km), Padua (15 Km), Vicenza (30 km), Verona (45 Km) , Ferrara and Bologna

Activities in the surrounding area: The surrounding area (the Euganean Hills) is rich of activities for people who loves to do a cultural vacation ready to try the local life and gastronomic traditions.

If you like to know more about the village of Arquà Petrarca, please have a look at the website of 'arqua petrarca' were you will find all the route departing from the house and from the village. In the surrounding area there are a lot of routes, immersed in the nature.

From the house you can easily reach the 4 golf club, one of which is less than four kilometers far from the house.

Wine and eat lovers won’t be disappointed: the zone is full of restaurants and Agriturismos, which offer to all visitors, wine, olive’s oil (one of the better of Italy) made by themselves. Near the house you will find two wine cellars 'Loreggian' and 'Borin' where is possible to taste and buy win

Activities in the house: At the Rusticos there will be at you disposal of a spacious swimming pool (7x3) with sun beds for people who wants to dedicate to the natural sun tanning in the quietness of the Hills and in a total privacy. Besides there is also a gazebo and a barbecue to have lunches outside in calm and green atmosphere. For the children there are some games and it is also possible to collect and to eat the varied fruits of the garden, of the vineyard and from olive grove.

Arquà Petrarca is a small village, which preserve the unchanged glamour of medieval time and it is considered the pearl of the Euganean Hills. Arquà has been inhabited since the Roman times, and gained more importance when Francesco Petrarca, one of the highest poet of the Italian tongue, wished to spend the last years of his life in the serene quietness of the place. Wine and eat lovers won’t be disappointed: the zone is full of restaurants and Agriturismos, which offer to all visitors, wine, olive’s oil (one of the better of Italy) producted by themselves. Near the house you will find two wine cellars 'Loreggian' and 'Borin' where is possible to taste and buy wine and typical products. Few kilometers far, there are the thermal towns like Abano, Montegrotto Terme, Battaglia and Galzignano where to get massages and thermal bath, well-known all over the world.

Absolutely amazing - beyond expectation

We were welcomed by the very gracious owners Lucia and Renzo, who showed us around the house and garden. The house is newly renovated with nice bathrooms, were very clean and four of the five bedrooms were luxuriously spacious. We were 7 adults (9 a few days) so the house was just perfect.

Vi particularly appreciated the different places for sun and shade. There was a sheltered dining area right at the entrance but we often used the shady pergola as a dining area where there was a barbecue and where it blew some good.

The property was fenced and it was nice to be totally private. It was situated on a hillside with great views of the beautiful landscape. Both Renso and Lucia were there several times to tend the garden and take care of the pool. While we felt that they really wanted us to feel comfortable so they were very discrete when they were there.

There were three restaurants just 100 m from the house and inside the charming village of Arqua Petrarca, there were more. Adjacent, there was a vineyard where they produced both good red o white wines. Padova Golf Club, 3 km from the house was a top course. High standards, friendly staff and good prices.
You need a car to shop and get to the train station. The train is perfect if you want to go to Padova, Venice, Verona and airports, cheap, and with frequent departures.

While we give our highest recommendations, we would also like to thank Camilla, the owners' daughter, who was very service minded and answered all our questions in advance and was available by phone during their stay. If the heart can decide, we will come back soon.

A perfect holiday house for us. We stayed in the larger house and it easily accommodated 7 of us. The owners and their family were wonderfully friendly and very welcoming. It's only a few minutes to the local town with lots of facilities and supermarkets. There is so much to see in the area but we especially enjoyed walking in the local hills, Vicenza, Padua, Verona and of course a visit to Venice. Mostly we enjoyed relaxing in the house or the garden and enjoying the use of the pool which was kept very clean. The weather was very hot so we really appreciated having the pool. We would highly recommend this property. Thanks again so much to Camilla and her family

Nous avons passé des vacances agréables à petite Rustico.
L'accueil était très chaleureux et la maison était très propre. Elle est très bien située avec l'accès rapide à l'autoroute ou à la gare.
Il y a tout ce qu'il faut à la maison, le feu de cheminée est appréciable quand il fait frais le soir.
La communication a été facile : les propriétaires parlent français parfaitement.
Nous n'avons pas fait de photos pour les mettre sur le site mais les photos déjà présentent donnent l'image tout à fait réelle.
Nous remercions Camilla et ses parents et nous reviendrons avec plaisir si nous revisitons la région.

Wonderful house with lots of room for a family or a group of friends. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Great bathrooms, a must for us. Beautiful location and very central for visiting different locations.
The owner was very friendly,gave us plenty of information. Wine and cake was there on our arrival. Would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to friends.Bar Enoteca Castello in Monselice is my favourite place to eat,especially in the garden,so relaxing.
