The Sheep Shack is a former farm stable building sympathetically converted to provide luxurious accommodation with contemporary style and flare. The property combines modern sustainable technologies such as ground source underfloor heating and high levels of insulation with traditional English oak fitting throughout. The main bedroom has en-suite facilities whilst there is the further luxury of a separate wet room bathroom. A stylish contemporary wood burning stove creates extra warmth in the main living area. The Shack is ideal for a romantic break but there is also a small bedroom with bunk beds suitable for children. Visitors can enjoy peace and privacy whilst still being within easy reach of Hayfield village. The Sheep Shack is situated within the Peak Park itself rather than in the village and is ideal for walking, trail or fell running and mountain biking. Amble down the lane to the local pub or just kick back in front of the fire and relax.
We can arrange mountain bike hire, fell running and hiking routes.
The 'Sheep Shack' is located on the lower slopes of Kinder Scout, approximately 1.5 miles from Hayfield village in the Peak District National Park. It is surrounded by a large area of open country and is excellent for walking, running and mountain biking. The local pub is approximately 0.5 mile away and Hayfield village is approximately 1.5 miles. Local attractions include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the caverns of Castleton.
