Idyllic rural holiday home for two overlooking garden, pond and fields, wild fauna including red squirrels. Heated, enclosed swimming pool, table tennis and barbecue. This modern light accommodation comprises large fitted double bedroom with en suite bath/shower/toilet room. Open plan well equipped, modern kitchen / dining / lounge area. Smart TV with Freeview and Free Sat, Wi Fi, DVD and I-Pod dock. Washerdrier, iron and board. Car parking. Nearby grocery stores, petrol station and bank. Close to bus route.

Situated in the Parish of St Saviour. Rural but close to the town of St Helier with its markets, appartment stores, boutiques and cafes easily reached by car, bicycle or bus. Historic attractions such as Mont Orgueil, Elizabeth Castle, the German Underground Hospital to name but a few. World class beaches such as St Ouen, renowned for surfing, St Brelade, St Aubin and Grouville for watersports such as water skiing, wind surfing and jet skiing; cliff walks and harbours such as Rozel, Bouley Bay and Bonuit. Historic churches, museums and martello towers to explore. Many excellent bars, gastro pubs and restaurants to choose from. All within easy reach! Ideal for cycling and hiking holidays.

The Haven is extremely comfortable, cosy and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Felicity is thoughtful, friendly yet not intrusive. The welcome pack was good and gratefully received. The apartment is part of the owner's property but, with its own entrance, is very private and has good views over the garden. Although we did not use the swimming pool, because we had so many other things to do, it looked very clean and inviting.

The 'Tennerfest' allowed us to sample excellent menus at reasonable prices. (Tennerfest is a promotion, in October and November, by restaurants to provide two-course menus for ten pounds, originally. Now some charge slightly more but they are reduced from normal charges. Many offer further courses for a little more money. They are good value, allowing you to try different, interesting dishes.

Over the years, we have stayed in many excellent apartments but The Haven must certainly rank in the top two.

We would recommend it, without reservation. It is well worth a visit.

We couldn't agree more with both the owner's information and the previous reviews. Bedroom and bathroom are generously sized, the living/kitchen area less so, but all are very well-appointed and comfortable. Felicity has though of everything - snorkelling gear and wet suit, binoculars... The pool was a fantastic bonus and I enjoyed having a swim with a good-sized pool all to myself! The apartment location is very good for accessing both the north and east coasts and also St Helier. West and southwest coasts are more of an adventure along the green lanes/ruettes, unless you use either of the busier north or south routes. We bought a Jersey Pass for tourist attractions (it was our first time on Jersey) and we made sure we used it, the majority of the inclusive attactions on the pass being within a reasonably short drive of the property, and the Jersey Tunnels being our favourite! We made regular use of the pub in St Martin and would recommend the beer, but maybe not the food. But we loved the Crab Shack in Gorey! We would definitely consider staying again on our next visit!

Relaxing holiday home from home

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this well equipped property. It is exactly as the proprietor - Felicity - explained in the listings. It was exceptionally clean and of a very high standard throughout. We had access to the large garden with a pond (just right for relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of the day). The heated pool is of equal high standard, we took full advantage of its use, the only onlookers being the resident cats! Felicity was very welcoming but unintrusive, however she was contactable if the need arose. When booking this property your own transport would help you get the most benefit of visiting the island due to its rural loction. The holiday overal was faultless, we highly recommend it.

This is the perfect hideaway for two. Although set within the owners propery it is very private. Everything about it is quality and I defy anyone not to enjoy their stay.My only 'but' is having a 6'2" tall husband and kingsize bed would have been better.
Felicity, the owner, was most welcoming and the pack left on our arrival was generous and thoughtful.
This was our first visit to Jersey and would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others.
Thank you Felicity for such a lovely stay on our 42nd Wedding Anniversary.
