The apartment is a newly refurbished 5 bedroom apartment located in the heart of Barcelona just 5 minutes from La Rambla. This 120 m2 (1200 sq. ft.) fourth floor apartment has recently been completely refurbished and decorated. This apartment is great for groups up to 10 people. Below are descriptions of each part of the apartment. 5 BEDROOMS: All rooms are for 2 people. All rooms have exterior balconies with window door. This is great for natural light and fresh air. All rooms have locks, heat and fan. KITCHEN/DINING AREA: The kitchen is spacious and new. There is 1 large dining table and 6 chairs. (NOTE: using the 4 chairs from the bedrooms will give a total of 10 chairs for dining). BATHROOMS: 2 separate showers, 2 separate toilets and 2 separate sinks. LIVING AREA: The living area is spacious and open. This area has one sofa, and 2 chairs and a large open space.

Nearest Beach: beach at 1 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
LOCATION: The location of the apartment is SUPER because we are located in the heart of the Barcelona centre just 5 minutes walk to Barcelona center square PLAZA CATALUNYA and LA RAMBLA. The metro stops CATALUNYA and UNIVERSITAT are just a few minutes walk. This area of the center is the main shopping and touristic area. (PG. DE GRACIA, BORNE, BARRIO GOTTICO, BEACH/PORTS) The beach/port area is a 20 min. walk and if you like night life there are also many restaurants, pubs, and clubs all with in a 10 minute walk.

Very accurate description of apartments and facilities. The property is a modest but safe, clean and well maintained apartment.
The customer service was excellent right from the very start from ordering through to the meeting with Chris and the advice provided about luggage storage and places to eat and drink.
I would definatly recommend these properties to a friend and plan to return in the very near future.
If you are looking for a place to stay that is centrally located in Barri Gotic and you would like to avoid all the over priced and diluted Barce experiences then Soho in Carrer Gignas is the place to be. There are numerous bars and cafes within 2 minutes walk that you could spend the whole weekend in the surrounding lanes and still come home with a great experience.
We went to Gignas with not a word of Spanish, and over one long weekend developed quite a good understanding of the basics.
Gignas is the place!
