Charming and typical apartment with nice owner

We were a group of 10 friends from all over Europe and booked this apartment for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. It was a last-minute booking, but thanks to Emanuela, the owner, who was very friendly, the booking went very fast and organized, with all the needed details and papers delivered.
The two apartments we booked are charming and typically Roman, very clean, with all the needed amenities like teapot, air-conditioner and with 2 bathrooms per 5 people, which proved to be very good. The building was freshly renovated. The owner also provided us with an internet stick for the laptop, which was perfect, as we checked a lot of tourist info on the spot.
Connections to the center with public transport are easy thanks to the bus stop in front. Easy to reach from the Colosseum or the Termini station. For the rest of the historical center you need to change buses. We walked or used taxis most of the time.
The owner was also very helpful when it came to local advice. The restaurant next to the Trevi fountain she recommended for the birthday dinner proved to be an institution and we had the best tiramisu.
So in general it is a charming, affordable and well-kept place with a very helpful owner. Enjoy your stay there.
