Location, Location, and Location...

This beautiful, three-bedroom, two bath, Ocean-View Penthouse with open Balcony (Verandah), Jacuzzi in Bathroom and Cable Internet and lots of English Cable channels is located in CopaCabana, One block from CopaCabana Beach and seven-eight minutes walk from Ipanema Beach, Ocean view from each room.

Police station (to ensure extra safety in the night - just kidding!!! (Very safe neighborhood with one 24 hour restaurant right in front of the building.) Rio Copacabana Hotel, Portneri Design Hotel as next door Neighbors, Walk to Help (the largest disco in South America) and also to lots of fancy restaurants and night clubs in Posto Five - the most desirable and safe neighborhood in whole Copacabana.

Totally Renovated:

Penthouse was totally gutted out and reformed and renovated to rent only one upscale New York Executive Client and his Brazilian girl friend for the whole year and he also gave advance in rent money. But because of his unfortunate health situation he is not being able to travel to Rio this year. So his loss - your gain!

Totally Furnished:

The whole apartment was renovated and furnished to meet his New York Manhattan Penthouse standards- Designer Lights and false ceilings, Custom made and Brand new TOK STOK Furniture, All American home appliances, Custom Paintings, Brand New four Air conditioners, Brand New four TVS and four DVD players, Brand new Sony Home theater system, Best Mattress money can buy in Brazil - very important, Complete Custom kitchen with freezer, refrigerator, microwave. There is already Wet Steam Sauna in place in Master bathroom.

Work Hard and Play Hard:

Depending on your mood - either work on the Granite desk which comes with Cable internet (very fast) or entertain your guest at the Custom-made Marble Bar with dim lights sipping Martinis or just relax on Hammock (Hedge) under the moon light and look for falling stars. If it is raining or Sun is too much for you and you still want to enjoy the Balcony (Verandah) use the brand new beautiful canopy installed at the balcony. There is also another Hammock in the another terrace attached to the bedroom There is also a safe in the bedroom for additional security

Last but not the least:

Way too much American Dollars was spent on renovating and decorating this Penthouse to make you and your guest feel like a King and or Queen. To continue that feeling and since you are on Vacation, rent also includes a cleaning service by my favorite maid MARGO(sweetheart) who will pamper you every other day.

Excellent Location - Good Condo for the Price

Booking this condo was easy and Nil was very accomodating with date change and the number of our party change. I was very grateful. When we arrived we called Lamartine and had to wait a few minutes for him to arrive. Checking it was easy.

The best thing about this condominium is the location. We travelled by metro and bus to all of the sites and we found that most of the busses we needed was right outside our door. The location is very safe, but I found Rio to be safe in general. I did not find the "very dangerous city" people talk about. There is alot to eat right outside your door. You can spend lots of money on Ave Atlantica or spend less money on the streets one block away from the beach. The supermarket is across the street and we used it for breakfast items. RIO IS EXPENSIVE!

The accomodations were adequate. I am not a fussy traveller and I do not spend lots of time in my condo or hotel room so certain things do not bother me, however if you are more particular traveller there are a few things that need attention in the condo for example the washing machine door is broken. None of these things disturb your comfort. The condo is also very clean. As another reviewer commented - the furniture is similar to what you find at IKEA.

For the price you pay, it is worth it!

Perfect place to stay in Copacabana. Stayed January 27-FEB.3 2012 for my b-day week. Awesome experience. Great apartament. Nil, Lamartini and Margo made me very comfortable and happy all thru my stay. Apartment was clean and well maintained.. A lot of restaurants and shopping in the área plus 2 blocks away from the beach. Will surely stay here again. Many thanks Nil!!! I Will definetely stay here again and Will recomend your lovely condo to my friends. God bless!

My friends and I rented out this place with very short notice and Nil and his manager were very accommodating. (We went mid Nov 2011). It's pretty much true to the description...bathrooms are modern, small view of the beach, and the verandah adds a really nice touch. Plus it has a safe in the condo for you to keep your important belongings secure. If you have never heard of Tok Stok furniture--I'd say it is most comparable to Ikea, not quite luxury, but nice decor. For the price, the condo is great and highly recommended. Steps from the beach, two ATMs, grocery store, restaurants, cafe. And it feels safe which I thought was important. Very close walking distance to Impanema as well. I would definitely stay again!

I never write reviews but this is a great place to stay while in Rio!

We stayed for 31 days from the end of Feb 2010 till near end of March 2011.The owner Nil is a really nice and helpful guy.He also lives in both America and Rio.We have been renting in Rio since Feb 2002.We have stayed at the good,bad and the ugly places.This place is up their with the best.We got a good price for carnival and the place has a great location.You can see the ocean from the balcony and it has a private bedroom next to it. Its has 2 other good sized bedrooms in the other part of the apartment.It is very clean and brand new Ac unit in living room.Good Tv and big refrigerator. It has two big and nice bath rooms.One has a nice whirlpool with jets and a sauna.The location is next to police station not that you will need it.It's near Eclipse restaurante which is open 24 hours.The apt is like one block from Zona Sul super market which is the best in Rio.You can always get a cab outside the door by the street. It has security fence and guard to buzz you in .It in a safe location and a little bar and restaurante 1/2 block down the street.I never wrie reviews but this place is great and the owner is really cool.We will be trying to get it again in 2012.
