Large, newly renovated, luxury penthouse apartment with massive south facing terrace overlooking the sea. All rooms have access to the terrace or to the balcony with views of the Nice hills. The open-plan living area has a fully fitted American kitchen and is tastefully furnished to a very high standard.

Fantastic holidays in Nice

Our family (2 adults and 3 children - 17, 9 and 3 years) had a wonderful time in this apartment. Not only was it spacious for us with plenty of sleeping areas, it has a marvellous terrace where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner.
All equipment that we needed for going to the beach (umbrella, mats, etc) was already available in the apartment and also our questions we asked beforehand were answered.
We enjoyed a quick stroll to the beach where we usually stayed from 9-13 and again in the late afternoon. As it was so convenient located, we quickly were back in the apartment for a nice siesta over noon.
Also going to the centre is easy either by foot or by taking the bus. Arriving to Nice with our Landrover Discovery was also easy and renting a parking spot in one of the nearby garages for 15 days is fairly affordable and safe.
I want to also personally mention the helpful attitude of the owner and of course Joanna for explaning everything we needed.
Great place that well deserves the 5 stars.

We loved this apartment!

You won't go wrong renting this apartment. Joanna was waiting for us when we arrived and made sure we were comfortable with all aspects of the apartment and provided suggestions on grocery shopping and restaurants.

The apartment is very nice. It is clean, spacious and well located. The kitchen is well equipped and the linens and towels are good quality (and great water pressure in the shower). We loved having leisurely breakfasts and wine on the terrace. We hated to leave.

Comfortable flat with large terrace

We stayed for five nights and this is a very comfortable, well maintained flat with a large terrace and excellent transport links. You can get a bus to almost anywhere from just outside the building. Easy to get to and from the airport and train station. Very close to the beach and for food shopping the Intermarche on Blvd Gambetta is a short walk away. We particularly liked a nearby shop in Rue de France called Plaisirs Des Halles, which had quality fresh produce and local delicacies. A great base for a visit to Nice!

Highly recommended. Clean, bright spacious unit with all the comforts of home and an amazing terrace with terrific view. We totally enjoyed our brief stay and will definitely return on our next visit to Nice. Joanna was extremely helpful in getting us settled in and with advice on getting around Nice.

We spent a week here, 2 families, 6 people altogether. We loved the apartment, spacious, clean and bright, very well equipped and the location was great too. The terrace was amazing and we enjoyed morning breakfast and evening drink there every day. Eve and Joanna were very helpful too and there is lots of info about the area in the appartment.
We took a bus to Monaco for a day trip and a cruise from the port to St.Tropes. The rest we spent in locally. We enjoyed going to the local farmer's market.

We had a great time.

Wonderful time in Nice!

Stayed for 2 weeks in August 2011. Had a delightful stay in this apartment which is spacious enough (especially because of the large balcony) to accommodate 6. The apartment was all very clean and tidy when we arrived thanks to Joanna:-)
So thank you so much Joanna as this was a delight when arriving and finding the place without having to do/redo a single thing!!
Everything in the flat was all working from the air conditioning to the wifi for the internet. All documentation is found in the apartment for the appliances and it is anyway very simple to understand
without having to read the book!!!
Location is perfect: very short walk from the beach, so close to all the shops: Supermarkets (Intermarche Rue Saint Philippe, Franprix and Spar on Rue de France, Casino on Blvd Gambetta), Bakeries: try both "Maison Gosset" and "The Capitole" on the Rue de France: Both have wonderful bread, viennoiseries and fruit tarts - There is also at a short walking distance, a covered market called the "Buffa market" located at the corner of Boulevard Gambetta and Rue de la Buffa with a fantastic fishmonger, butcher and fruit and vegetables. On 16 Bld Gambetta for really nice ham and pate try a trattoria called "l'Alsacien".
Nothing was missing in the apartment: It was so wonderful to take meals sitting at the table on the terrace!
We traveled by car and found a car park on Rue Saint Philippe (Palmeira car park). Note that this is not a "numbered" place guaranteed...You pay for a space available but you will not end up at the same place everyday. It is about 700m (10 minutes walk) from the apartment and has 24h security. It cost us 163 Euros for 2 weeks, (109 Euros for 1 week). Long term street parking is extremely limited in Nice.
Parking at the front of the building is very limited and loading/unloading baggage may require double parking as can be quite a busy street. Would be most helpful if a key to the rear door of the building was provided as this gives access to a quiet cul de sac where it is possible to park temporarily whilst loading. We were really fortunate that on our arrival and departure we met Joanna and she was kind enough to open the back door so that we could load/unload our luggage.
We had nothing at all to complain about during those 2 weeks and I rate those 2 weeks as one of the best holidays I've spent in Nice. I will surely recommend the place and will certainly rent it again if I decide to holiday in Nice again. Many thanks Eve and Joanna :-)

The appartment is situated on rue de France which is one street back from the Promenade des Anglais. The beach (both private and public) is 5 minutes walk away(less if the traffic lights are in your favour) and there are several shops,restaurants, bars and bakeries within a couple of minutes walk. Tha main supermarket is 5 minutes away and if you run short of money the bank is next to the front door of our building! The centre of town (Massena) is no more than 10 miutes away.the old town 20 minutes...if you're feeling tired or very lazy the bus stop is just across the road! .

One double bedroom with access to front terrace has an en-suite shower/WC. The other double and the twin room, both with access to the balcony are situated next to the main bathroom, with bath, shower,basin and WC. There is also a cloakroom in this area with basin and WC. The airconditiong is remote controlled and each unit works separately.
