Lovely apartment, lovely neighborhood

We stayed 7 days in this lovely apartment. The pictures represent the apartment well. We were very comfortable and loved the accommodations. The bed is especially comfortable! Maria, the owner, was extremely helpful with booking, directions, recommendations, etc. The location couldn't be better: central to everything, yet a unique and exclusive neighborhood (that does get busy with tourists during the day). We walked to every attraction (Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, etc). They are long walks, but we enjoy spending the day walking and exploring neighborhoods on our way places. The Metro is just over the river, a 3 minute walk. There is a grocer right next door for any kitchen needs you may have. We usually like to stay in 4 star hotels, but thought we would try something different by renting an apartment and we were more than pleased and our expectations exceeded. Lots of great restaurants close by, but our stand out favorite was a few doors down the street: Auberge de la Reine Blanche.
Property was well kept and clean, perfect size for us two. Very quiet - you can't hear anything from the street, but we did hear some loud neighbors in the building once or twice. Really the only con about the apartment was the lack of view - but that was expected and the apartment was so lovely and the neighborhood so perfect, we really didn't mind one bit.
I would recommend this apartment to my friends and family and hope to return someday. We travel a lot and have been to a number of great locales, this is definitely in our top 2 of all time. I was worried about what to expect and what we may need, but the apartment provided every last thing we needed. I even had a mix up about a utensil in the apartment and Maria was quick to help.
We will be back!!!
