BALLANTRAE - HORSEHILL COTTAGE - AYRSHIRE

These four holiday cottages are on a 200 acre working farm and enjoy panoramic views over the sea to the Antrim mountains, Ailsa Craig and the Mull of Kintyre. This is a beautiful part of the coastline, just 1/2 mile from the ancient fishing village of Ballantrae. Girvan, a popular seaside town is 15 mins. drive. The farm includes 1 1/2 miles of beach, accessed by a short footpath from the main road below the cottages. The area offers fishing, golf at several excellent courses, sailing and horse-racing at Ayr. Shops and pub 1/2 mile, plus excellent local restaurants. In an elevated position adjacent to farm buildings, 300 metres from the main road, each of the first 3 cottages have wonderful views to the sea. The bright sunny rooms are simply furnished in homely style, ideal for a relaxed family holiday. We recommend a maximum of 4 adults. Ayr 132(a) Sleep 4/6 plus baby 1 bedroom with double and single bed, 1 room with bunk beds and extra single bed, sitting room with open fire, kitchen, bathroom. All electric plus open fire. Fridge, washing machine, microwave, television. Bed linen is provided. Cot and high chair by arrangement.
