Lovely and cozy small one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Lisbon within St. George Castle walls (Castelo de S. Jorge) , the most historical Lisbon neighbourhood, in the city center, which is one of the oldest and most sought after areas of the city. Sitting high on the hill this neighbourhood benefits from fabulous views around every corner (although not from the apartment), cobbled streets and historic architecture.
There are many local bars and restaurants nearby including the world famous Chapito with its stunning views and circus school, but the area is generally quiet during the night. The location of the apartment could not be better situated in the Castelo district and a ten minute walk to the shops, restaurants and transport links of Baixa / Chiado and the nightlife of Bairro Alto. The romantic and charming Alfama district is also right on your doorstep. You are near by all the cultural and commercial life of the city.
Very well connected in a few minutes you can reach the train stations of Santa Apolónia, Rossio or Cais do Sodré and explore the rest of the country, the special, misterious, enchating Sintra and the Cascais city and beaches.
In 20 minutes by car you can enjoy the sun at Costa da Caparica beaches or a little further, my favorite Meco and Alfarim beaches.
