A detached single storey cottage with a large garden, set back from the road which leads down the hill into the little village of Stromeferry. These are some of the most beautiful scenic surroundings to be found in the Highlands and there are lovely panoramic views from the cottage and the garden to Loch Carron and the hills beyond. Stromeferry has a launching slipway for visitors who wish to bring a boat, and a small railway station. There is no shop, but just 5 miles away is the picturesque resort of Plockton and a wider choice of shops will be found in Kyle of Lochalsh, 9 miles to the south west. The cottage dates from 1927, rooms are bright, sunny and comfortably furnished. This is a very peaceful spot, perfect for relaxing ’away from it all’ and enjoying the clear air and unpolluted night sky. Stromeferry is also a good starting point for touring - north to Lochcarron, Applecross and Torridon, or south west to Kyle and across the bridge to the Isle of Skye. 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, lounge with lovely view along Loch Carron, open fire and sofa bed, entrance hall/dining area, attractive kitchen and new bathroom with shower over bath. All electric with panel heaters throughout plus open fire. Fridge, auto washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, Freeview television, DVD, CD player.
