9 x 5m heated PRIVATE swimming pool: The above ground heated PRIVATE swimming pool measures 9m x 5m and sits in amongst 1200m2 of private mature gardens. The children will love the children’s play area with swings, slide and sandpit whilst the adults can sit back and relax on the large tiled terrace overlooking the gardens. You will also be delighted with the good quality garden furniture and a large chimney style barbecue which cooks food to perfection! The is ample parking and secure gates at the front of the property.
Local Activities to keep you entertained......: The 'Cercle Nautique Tranchais' offers sailing, windsurfing, kite-surfing and sand-sailing. The area is also superb for boating and surfing enthusiasts The large fishing port of l'Aiguillon is just 10 minutes away. Early risers can choose from a range of freshly-caught fish, mussels, oysters, lustinesses and gambas at the town's fish market which is open every weekday at 5am. Those who prefer a lie-in can sample the seafood later in the day at one of the many wonderful fish restaurants in the town. From La-Tranche-sur-Mer take a 45 minute boat ride to the beautiful island of Ile de Re and the famous port of St Matin - Highly recommended for a superb locally caught lunch and then visit all of the wonderful boutiques and antique shops dotted around the many lanes.
Especially for the little ones..... : We cater especially for families with children. You will find a large library of books (babies to teenagers), a huge collection of videos, board games for the entire family, a great selection of toys which includes dressing up clothes and train sets - everything you could possibly need to keep the little ones entertained. Also supplied FREE are a high chair, travel cot, changing unit, pushchair, sterilising kit, bottle warmer and plastic crockery & cutlery. We also have an English mother of two who we highly recommend for BABY-SITTING should you wish to go out and experience the delights of our local restaurants. For the big boys......we also have a projector TV on an impressive screen with the full sky sports and movies channels!!

Guest Book: Mr M - Week started on a high when you showed up the cupboard stuffed with toys. - Throw in the warm swimming pool, excellent facilities and above all you wonderful welcome and we had all the ingredients for a fantastic holiday. Mrs W - We had a great stay, the gite worked well with the five of us (all adults) and the location is just about perfect. Thank you for the efforts you've put into making Le Pressoir so inviting, relaxing and comfortable. Mrs T - Suburb holiday, good weather, lovely surrounding and all the facilities we could need.
