The vinity of Saint Lorenzo market offers the possibility to make yours acquires and taste the typical specialties of the Tuscany kitchen.

The apartment has been completion and fine restructured, in the wide stay finds also the complete kitchen of all the necessary one, beyond to one matrimoniale room and the bath with shower and washing machine, air conditioning.

Christmas in Florence

I spent two fabulous weeks in Florence attending language school just before Christmas and was looking for an apartment that was in an area I knew well and close to the school. Alberto's apartment was perfectly located one block from the San Lorenzo markets, Medici Chapel and the Mercato Centrale and no more than 10 minutes walk to school.

The apartment was very comfortable and although the kitchen was tiny (only fitting one person) it had everything need including a dishwasher. The living area was exactly like the photo and very cosy.

Alberto was extremely helpful and available to call anytime if there was a problem or help with information.

I enjoyed staying in this apartment very much and was disappointed to find it was booked for the April dates I will be back in Florence.

Oh well....next time.

Fantastic Fierenze Flat!

Alberto was a fabluious host, and has created a wonderful space to use as your base camp for any trip to Florence. Central to everything, it's an easy walk from the train station, and central to accessing all of the town of Florence. A wonderfully equipped kitchen allows easy preparation of ingredients found just outside the door for a home cooked meal (or just breakfast/lunch preparation - the restaurants are not to be missed!) While we were there during the cooler winter months, it was a wonderful visit without the crowds of summer, and Alberto's extra effort to help us store our bags on our last day past check out time (with the cleaners coming up the stairs!) was just great. Gave us 5 more hours in Florence that we just loved. Highly recommended!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Excellent, excellent Stay in Florence

Alberto is a fabulous host, and our small family (3 adults) enjoyed a wonderful 3 days in Florence with this flat as our base of operations. It feels like you live in Florence when you come out of Alberto's hole in the wall, right into the hubbub of central Florence - minutes from EVERYTHING on foot. His apartment is spotless, and he could not be a better host - even accommodated our bags beyond the check out date with a little cubbyhole on the 4th floor! Absolutely recommended for small groups desiring a great location, very walkable from the train station.

Great apartment, great owner!

My wife and I stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon trip across Italy. Alberto was great! He was so charming and funny, he made us feel like his friend right from the start. The apartment was very nice and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We were also in Rome, Como and Venice on this trip and I have to say I think I enjoyed Florence the most. So much great art and architecture to see, all within a very short walk from the apartment!

The apartment is fairly high up, with several flights of stairs so I would recommend it for people who have trouble walking up a ton of stairs...although if you have trouble walking most places in Italy probably aren't for you.

The Ideal VacationLocation

We (Aussie couple) chose this apartment because of the reviews we read and the location as described. Brilliant! Just as it was said to be. Not too far to walk from the main railway station for travellers with luggage. Just up the street to the markets, shops and eateries of all kinds nearby.
Walking distance to many of Florence's beautiful attractions including Ponte Vecchio, Uffizzi, the Duomo, piazza's, churches, on/off tourist bus etc.
The owner (Alberto) was easy to contact and spoke excellent English. He also gave us good advice about what to see and how to get there.
Access to the apartment was safe and secure. For a couple the apartment was quite spacious and all facilities listed were in good order. The place was well maintained and very clean.
We loved the city and another visit would certainly see us stay in this apartment again. We will be recommending this place to family and friends
