Make sure you stop by the Warming Hut right along the Crissy Fields for more viewing of the Golden Gate Bride while sipping on your latte or hot chocolate.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We found it was very easy to find transportation throughout San Francisco and this place was very convenient to walk to many restaurants and bus stops to get wherever we needed to go. Although parking in front says it is for Permit passes beyond 2 hours, my brother was able to park there without any problems Friday - Wednesday.
We were able to sleep 5 comfortably on the bed, futon, and couch. There were plenty of towels, sheets, & blankets and the kitchen table was great for us to play card games and board games. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and pans for us to make meals when we had leftovers or didn't want to go out for a meal.
The place was very clean and well-maintaned. The owner was very helpful in answering our questions about parking and there are a lot of brochures available to help us find activities nearby.
My family had a wonderful stay and this place made our first experience with VRBO a very pleasant experience.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to see the sights of San Francisco. It's within walking distance to the Golden Gate Bridge, Ghiradelli Square, movie theatres, sports gym, and lots of restaurants and shops. Only a short bus ride to the cable cars. So much to see in San Francisco, but I would recommend getting the book, "Top 25 Things to See & Do in San Francisco". There are so many things to do, that I can't just recommend a few here. We had a blast exploring the city!!!

Note: If you live in a city, you will love this place. If you are a country dweller, you may want to bring ear plugs to drown out the street traffic at night. It's not that bad, but may bother you if you aren't used to it.

We really enjoyed our stay

I am the type to really overthink my plans and I started to get nervous about my choice. As soon as I arrived and called to check-in I was relieved. They were very helpful. I did not have problems parking without a permit, but I did have to move it to a different street for Mon 6-8am street cleaning. We had myself and my 4 teenage+ daughters and there was plenty of room to sleep and enough room at the dining table with chairs. The pictures were accurate and it was clean. The flat is well-equipped. There were towels, linens, blow dryer, coffee for the coffee maker (but we took a morning walk to Chestnut to get some wonderful coffee in the shops). There was also a box fan that we used for white noise when we were sleeping because there was traffic on the street. We felt very safe and the neighborhood was nice for walking in.
Definitely walk to the Palace of Fine Arts and Chrissy fields if you stay here, and you can see the Golden Gate Bridge when you step out the door and look down the street. We also loved Marin Headlands and the Bonita Point Lighthouse trail just a short drive across the Golden Gate.

Perfect location!

Our stay was perfect, from finding parking right out front for our entire stay, to being able to walk to some really cool places, and hop right onto public transportation to go a bit further. There is so much to do around this place, and it was very roomy for our family of four. The only complaint I have is that we didn't spend enough time here. For those of you who complained about the noise, I say get over it! You are going to the City not the countryside!! I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 4 days in March of 2013. The apartment has everything that one need. However it is badly in need of an update. The 20 inch and 13 inch Tube TV's must go. Too many wires running thru the living room is no eye candy.
The bathroom had crown moldings, but all four sides were different from each other. The washer/Dryer combo is limited to either or, meaning you have to wait for the dryer to finish the job before washer can be used and vice versa. The toilet is literally next to the shower and there is no way you can get in and out of the shower without touching it. It is a very crowded bathroom with washer and dryer as well as the toilet and tub in it. The vanity had a lot of dust accumulated on top of the one coat of paint that was applied. The brushmarks and the poor paint job is in your face when you sit on the toilet.

The dryer takes too long to dry damp clothes. Some towels had a few stains on them. The bed was comfortable but the room was dark. Parking on the street was no problem even though it said permit required over 2 hours. You will hear some road noise will get used to it after a few hours. The apartment on top had people and you would think they are stepping on you by the noise they make walking around.

The apartment has potential but not in this shape. I was very disappointed by the condition and cleanliness of the apartment. Owners

comfortable great location

wonderful accomodations. very comfy and we walked everywhere, from Golden Gate Bridge to Pier 39 ,Palace of Fine Arts, Presidio,and just a couple of blocks away from bus stop to take us to Golden Gate Park. Loved the Shopping and cafes on Chestnut Street.
The only inconvenience was the parking, but that is typical of San Francisco. We would definitely stay here again!
