A unique and stylish 1 bedroom garden apartment in a quiet residential street, located close to Bayswater, Queensway and Royal Oak tube stations. Notting Hill and Portobello Market are both within each reach. Accessible from Heathrow Airport on the Heathrow Express into nearby Paddington Station. Supermarkets and food stores of all descriptions, shops, bars, restaurants, cafés and pubs are all in abundance and within walking distance. This unusually large lower ground floor apartment has just been refurbished to a very high standard. Decorated in a traditional style with a mix of modern features. There is large double bedroom with masses of built-in wardrobe space and a flat screen TV, a bright newly fitted tiled bathroom with bath and overhead power shower, spacious sitting/dining room with double sofabed and French doors leading to a split-level mature garden with table and chairs. There is also a fully fitted large modern kitchen/diner with back door also leading to the garden.

Bayswater is one of London's most cosmopolitan areas, with the significant diversity of the local population added to by having one of London's highest concentration of hotels, restaurants, bars, cafes, pubs and shops including the famous Whiteleys shopping Centre. Architecturally, the biggest part of the Bayswater area is made up of Georgian stucco terraces and garden squares, mostly, although not exclusively, divided up into flats. Property in and around Bayswater ranges from very expensive apartments to small studio flats. Every Sunday Bayswater Road is transformed into the world's liveliest open-air art show. Sidewalk-art at its best. This world famous show on the railings of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The Princess Diana Memorial Garden, the Peter Pan statue, the world's favourite Oxford Street shopping centre and of course the famous Portobello Road Antique Market are all nearby.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The prices include all utilities but exclude a £50.00 end of stay cleaning charge .Prices are based on two people with an additional one-off charge of £20.00 for a third adult or for one or two children, regardless of the length of stay. Telephone calls are charged at 10 pence per unit.

    25% of the rental is required upon confirmation and the balance one month prior to arrival. If the arrival date is within one month at the time of booking then the full amount is due.
  • If cancellation occurs before the full payment has been collected, the amount is refunded less a £50.00 administration charge. Should cancellation occur within one month of arrival, refund is subject to re-letting of the property for the said period.

The apt was very well located, clean and very comfortable. Close by are many shops and restaurants and you are within walking distance to 3 tube stations. I can recommend Marsala Zone for Indian food, Carluccios for Italian and good coffee ( rare in London) and Cha Cha Moon in the Whitely Centre for noodles. The owner and agent BOTH provided excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this apt to anyone wishing to visit London.

This property, in our opinion met all our requirements and more. The owner, who is charming, met us and showed us around the property personally. The apartment is very clean and extremely well presented. The linen and towels are very good quality and professionally laundered. Being so close to the tube and buses meant we could travel around London so easily and quickly from here. We are reluctant to recommend this property because if everyone gets to hear how good it is then it might not be available for us when we next come to London!
