Villas 'Anthea Rossa' & 'Pergola' are set on a hillside, half road from Lygia port & the picturesque village of Katouna. Both villas offer dramatic sea views, ideal for summer holiday, with balconies & wide verandas. The properties are immersed in the green & flowered gardens of bougainvilleas & honey-suckles, offering well sized pools & romantic relaxation. Two self-catering villas furnished to a very high standard. In both villas, the main entrance from the iron gate through gardens of olive trees & flowers, is shared. Then each detached villa (Anthea Rossa' & 'Pergola' ) has its own private spaces.

Open plan kitchen with dishwasher & marble -topped breakfast bar. Sitting room with satellite TV (Hotbird channels )& DVD player, double sofa bed, leading to sea-facing balcony. Utility room with washing machine. Staircase with handmade iron banisters leads down to one double bedroom leading to garden terrace. Bathroom with shower. Bedroom 2 with two single beds, leading to garden terrace. En-suite (marble) bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Air-conditioning in the sitting room,both bedrooms & dining areas. Large, comfortable sea-facing balcony with second dining table 'al fresco' for superb dinners. Swimming pool in the shape of a lake with a natural rock in the middle. It measures 9x5 m, depth 1-1.6 m. BBQ area & patio area with outdoor chairs & table. Parking place immediately outside the villa after the edge of the asphalt road (along the road).

The villas are only 2 minutes drive away or a short 10 minutes walk (600 m) from the tiny & completely unspoilt village of Katouna. This small traditional village may be the most well preserved in the island with wonderfully restored old houses & best views of the magnificent countryside. Lygia, which is not commercialised, a small area with a harbour, ideal also for small & bigger boats, several pleasant beaches & coves, a useful variety of food shops & particularly good seafood restaurants, mini markets, groceries, bakeries, is only 900 m away from the villas. Lefkas town is just 6 km away. There are many many beaches in all west & east costs of Lefkas (the island is renowned for the beaches). Closest beach in Lygia 1.5 km & best beaches, by car, from 'Anthea Rossa' & 'Pergola' are in Gyra & Agios Ioannis location, near Lefkas town, only 5-7 km away.

  • Prices per week in euros. Prices include all taxes, cleaning twice a week (changeover day included), pool cleaning, electricity & air conditioning. Minimum stay one week. 2 weeks or long winter lets see for special prices. Sofa bed has an additional charge. Bookings are Sunday to Sunday or Saturday to Saturday. The villa is available from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. Guests are requested to vacate the villa not later than 10am on the day of departure. We recommend that you e-mail us first to check on availability. Bookings are confirmed with a 30 % deposit (refundable till March 30th 2010 for bookings made until February 28th). Deposits for bookings after March 1st 2010 will not be refundable.

Relaxing and convenient family holidays

We would highly recommend this villa for relaxing and highly convenient holidays. The description was remarkably accurate regarding location, facilities and what should be expected. The house was in an excellent condition with a breath taking view.
This place met the needs for all our family members: privacy and peace for the adults and a clean modern kitchen with all the facilities for the kids (very important for our older boy who suffers from allergies)
Customer service was excellent (e.g even rice, spaggeti, sugar, coffee, anti-mosquito bite creme were provided)
Important note: car is required.
We all loved the cruise with the "Odysseia" boat that departs from Nydri.
