Romantic villa apartment located in the most exclusive residential area of Corfu with private access from the garden. Ideal for a summer self catering holiday rental. It consists of a lounge/dinning/ kitchen area, dressing area with ample cupboard space, large bathroom with bath and shower and a double bedroom with air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator/freezer, oven/stove, all the necessary crockery and cutlery, pots and pans. The lounge/dining area section has a comfortable two setter couch, TV and utility table and four chairs. The bedroom is spacious with windows and entrance to the garden, a 1.60 meter double bed, dressing table and two comfortable easy chairs. The villa gardens are private and consist of manicured lawn, flowers and shrubs, a fish pond with gold fish and a fountain and well established trees providing plenty of shade. The swimming pool is 9 x 4 meters. Good sea views. Main villa occupied by couple in 50's with no children.

The attractions of a summer holiday in Corfu are endless. Besides the luxury accommodation described above, the island has plenty to offer a summer visitor. The months of June, July and August are rain free and warm to hot. This is virtually guaranteed. May and September are warm. The island is green, the seawater clear and warm and there are many wonderful sand and pebbled beaches. There are water sports, a large variety of restaurants, quaint inland villages, boat, bike, quad and car hire, Aqua Land ( an exceptional water theme park), golf, walks, horse riding, sailing, scuba diving, Para-sailing and so the list goes on. Corfu town is ten kilometers away and offers many historical sites such as the two Venetian forts as well as tons of shops and cafe/restaurants. The apartment in Kommeno is geographical extremely well located permitting easy access to the East and West coast areas as well as the popular North East coast. A great place for a summer holiday.

  • The apartment is ideally suited for two persons. However, a third person under 15 years of age can be accommodated at an additional weekly levy Euro 75 per week for all seasons. The bed provided will be a substantial iron folding bed or a baby's cot.
  • A deposit of 40% (forty percent) is required to secure a firm booking. The balance of the accommodation cost (60%) is payable a minimum of two months prior to arrival. Deposits and full payments are generally not refundable. Only under extraordinary circumstances such as server illness or death will prepaid accommodation costs be refunded.

There is a standard toilet. The bathroom is tiled with yellow wall tiles and a rusty brown floor tile. There are adequate towel racks, rings and hooks. The bathroom is en suite with the dressing area and bedroom. A small high window looks out into the garden. Hot water is provided by a boiler and a 200 liter water tank. There is an endless supply of hot water.

  • The bedroom is spacious and airy. It has three windows overlooking the garden and the entrance door which leads up a few steps to the garden. It is painted in a light pastel yellow and decorated with tasteful window blinds and curtains. The furniture is modern and solid in structure. The 1.60m double bed has an orthopedic mattress resting on a solid base and it is accompanied by two bedside tables with drawers and bedside lights and a headboard. The floor is tiled and has a light brown ribbed coyer rug in the center. There are two cane and cushioned arm chairs and a small dressing table and mirror plus a bookcase. There is a centre light and an attractive wall light providing either bright or low lighting. The air conditioner is located on the wall with the air flow directed away from the double bed.

Exclusive boat trip: Exclusive summer boat trip and lunch. (weather permitting) Departs 11.00 am and returns 5.00pm. Two swimming/snorkeling stops on the way up the North East coast (for about 7 nautical miles) where lunch will be available from a selection of seaside Tavernas. The boat is a privately owned six meter RIB powered by a 175 HP motor. Maximum four persons (excluding skipper) Refreshments are served on board on the North bound leg only. Pre-booking required. Price (excluding the cost of lunch which is for the account of the client) €150. Please book on arrival if not before.

Winter Break Aways: There are also winter events which, combined with this cozy comfort style of accommodation, make for a very relaxed and different get-away winter break. For example, in April each year over the Easter period, there are several well known and exclusively Corfiot events like the 'throwing of the pots'. Many visitors come to the island for this event. It marks the end of winter. Throwing clay pots from the hundreds of balconies in Corfu town, at exactly 11am on Easter Saturday, heralds the arrival of spring. Over the period prior to Easter there are carnival marches. The numerous Corfiot bands take to the streets to accompany all the festivities. Corfu over Christmas and New Year is a festive place to be and there is easy access by ferry and car to a small skiing facility in north-western Greece. There are organized winter walks to different parts of the island and the cooler weather is a good time to take in some of the cultural sites and places of interest.
