The first thing that greeted us was the amazing smell of hot pine trees as we drove up to the house. From the Google map, it looked as though this villa was on the edge of the town, but it is about 10 minutes outside, down a track on a large plot, very private but with other local residents nearby so it does not feel isolated. We were left alone all week, with out the intrusion of gardeners or pool men which was very welcome. It is spacious and simply furnished with comfortable sun loungers and a lovely pool area with BBQ. The location is ideal for the beach at Frejus (about 30 mins), St Tropez and Cannes are easily reachable too or you can go north to the Gorges de Verdon which is stunning, as is the Lac de Ste Croixe with its beaches and gorgeous turquoise water to swim in. We would thoroughly recommend this villa.
