I was born in Marseille but moved to the Perigord when my father's family came from. The family had been well established here since before my great-great grandfather who was the Notaire of Brantome, my Great grandfather Robert Dessales Quentin a well known painter and I am proud that there is a street named after him in Brantome.
This property was given to me by my Grandfather Jaques but at that time it was practically a ruin but I had always loved the setting and knew I coukd lovingly restore it. Restoration completed 3 yrs ago when I tgen started to let it with great sucess. It is idilic, tranquille and so beautiful. Even sounds wonderful....with the music of the water flow.
The views from the large windows are amazing. The river below so crystal clear that fish can be watched. Water hens and many birds deer too at times. Is is so peaceful yet just a short drive to civilisation!
