This lovely townhouse is situated in the historical village of Kouklia. Finished to an excellent standard it offers sea views and is in a superb location being only 5 mins from Aphrodite's Rock and the sea, 15 from a sandy beach hiring parasols and 10 from the airport. The golf courses at Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley are less than 10 mins drive. The living area is comfortable with 2 two seater sofas, 26' TV with DVD player and satellite. The dining table seats 6 and the kitchen is fitted with quality appliances. There is air con/heaters in all rooms so suitable for any time of year. Only 3 houses share the pool and outside BBQ area. The house is perfectly set up for a family including travel cot, high chair, a car seat for 9mth-4 year old and a booster seat for a 4-12 year old. There is also a basket of toys and importantly CBeebies. A Peugeot 207 (pictured) can be hired for £120 per week. There are great tavernas in the village which are a short walk away.

Location: Paphos region < Cyprus

Nearest Airport: Paphos at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 5.0 Kilometres

If you are a committed golfer, a family or on a romantic break, Kouklia has it all. The village boasts three great tavernas with two more being renovated, two supermarkets, bank, police station and a pharmacy. It also is an important archaeological region, finds include the temple of 'Aphrodite of Pafos' (Pafia Aphrodite) and the remains of Palaipafos (Old Paphos), all within walking distance. The nearest beach is Aphrodite's Rock with a trip in the early evening to watch the sunset a must. Five mins further is Pissori Bay which have tavernas offering sun beds and umbrellas. The two nearest 18 hole golf courses are Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills which are both excellent. Aphrodite Hills offers great facilities including restaurants, a play area for children and a beautiful spa. Driving to Paphos for shopping or entertainment is an easy 15 min drive. Kouklia is ideally situated to drive up into the Troodos Mountains or along the coast road to the beautiful amphitheatre in Kourion.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit cheque of 50% of the rate will be requested to secure the booking and the final cheque for the balance is to be paid no later than six weeks before the start of the holiday period.
    A damages deposit cheque for 150 pound will be held (Non Banked) against damage to the property should it occur, and this is to be sent with the final payment. This will be returned/destroyed after the Client leaves the property and any damages are assessed by the Housekeeper. If damages are not replaced by the Client during their stay, this cheque will be cashed, the replacement costs deducted and the remainder returned to the Client by cheque.
  • A welcome basket of basic groceries on arrival can be supplied at a small extra charge, this usually consists of bread, milk, bacon, butter, tea, coffee, water and fruit, but this can be added to (ie bottle of wine and some cold beers). Email for more information. You should find a selection of store cupboard food which you are welcome to use.

The Perfect family holiday with two little Boys

A wonderful home for a 10 day holiday. All you could wish for in the house and more. The pool was the highlight for our two boys 18 months and 3. Small balcony for mummy and daddy to escape too in the evening with a bottle of something and Greek salad! All very easy and comfortable.

A perfect Holiday, the villa is lovely, bright and welcoming and my child loved the pool which is great for little ones with a gradual sloping entrance.

Kouklia is a pretty typical cypriot village with friendly tavernas and a couple of shops, all just far enough away fromPaphos for a bit of peace but easy to reach in the car provided for some night life.

We'll definately be back !!

A really nice property on the edge of a quiet village. Village stores and tavernas a 2minute walk away. Local people were friendly. Jo who owns the property could not have been more helpful and informative. I would most definitely recommend this property to a friend. The archeological site is well worth a visit. There is a local based bike hire company based in the village who offer an excellent service and the B6 coast road is a picturesque run as are some of the inland roads. This company also organise off-road tours in the Akamas Peninsular at very reasonable rates. I found them to be very proffessional in their approach. I did hire a car for 3days and found driving further afield not to be a problem. All in all a very enjoyable holiday.
