Locorotondo Vacation Rental farmhouse: Martina Franca

We had an absolutely fantastic time. The Masseria was perfect and the area beautiful. Driving around the area was easy and we visited Locorotondo or Martina Franca each evening for dinner. One night we went to the Madonna Del'orco farm down the road for dinner which was really nice and very cheap. they also make their own wine, cheese, meat etc. The food was really good each night and also very reasonably priced the most expensive beeing La Tana in Martina Franca it is mentioned in the notes this is expensive. At 70 euors for 2 it still wasn't too pricey. We used the local supermarket in Locorotondo or the Madonna farm to make anitpasti or panninis in the day time. We found all the food really nice and very reasonably priced. In the day time we went twice to the beaches near Torrecanne and twice to the beach at Pulsano. Pulsano is the best but it is further away, only 1 hours rive though. We also visited Ostuni one morning and the Trullis in Alberobello one morning. Make sure you have a map to get around. On our last day we spent the day by the pool on the farm and relaxed which was really nice.
As i say the farm is beautiful and is being restored to a high standard. I think it might be an idea to put some decent directions to the beaches in Pulsano or Torrecanne as we got a little lost the first times we went. We had a map though and found our way in the end. By the end of the week we knew exactly where we were going and said we wished we could've stayed a few more days!!!
I thouroughly recomend this place for couples to relax. You need a car and be prepared to tavel around. Or you can simply stay around the pool at the Masseria!!
