-2 Story 'mother/daughter' section of large Barnhouse (totally private!)

-Two Bedrooms with Queen beds

-Separate Children's Room/Nursery with video monitor, toys, books, etc.

-Two full Bathrooms (one with jacuzzi tub)

-Full kitchen (all utensils and pots/pans/high chair provided)

-Dining area

-Lounge area with cathedral ceilings, with cable TV/DVD/VCR player, and cozy firestove

-WiFi

-Private Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis instruction(therapeutic/holistic movement method that combines principles of yoga, tai chi, swimming, physical therapy and dance) available anytime.

Property on four beautiful acres with large open field. Outside sitting area, hammock, charcoal BBQ grill, bonfire pit, perennial gardens, swing set, sand box, trampoline, frisbee golf hole and plenty o' green grass to go all around. Deer, groundhogs, squirrels, chipmunks, fox, chipmunks, all kinds of birds (gold/purple finches and woodpeckers are my favorites), etc. are abound.

Only 55 miles from NYC; Warwick, NY offers: rolling hills, dairy farms, apple orchards, farmers markets, wineries, antique stores, great restaurants, bowling, Drive-In movie theater, many golf courses, world-class frisbee golf course, yoga, tai-chi, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, Wawayanda State Park (34,000 acres!) with beach, large swimming lake, and canoeing, mountain biking, seven miles from Greenwood Lake (largest lake in Orange County), six miles from Sugarloaf (arts and crafts village), 15 minutes from Sterling Forest, 15 minutes from Vernon, NJ, (Mountain Creek Water Park and Ski Mountain/Minerals Spa), 20 minutes from Woodbury Commons (huge shopping outlets in Harriman, NY), etc.!

Winter Activities: skiing, snowboarding, tubing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, four ski resorts within 15 minutes (Mountain Creek, Sterling Forest, Mt. Peter, Hidden Valley), snowshoeing on Appalachian Trail and Wawayanda State Park, ice skating, Minerals Spa, etc.

I discovered Warwick to be the most beautiful and rural setting just 55miles from NYC. Warwick is a wonderful, progressive, and close-knit community with so many unique places and things to do for folks of every age. It is truly a 'hidden jewel of the Hudson Valley.'

The barn was so quant and very authentic. We enjoyed our stay. It was very easy to get too and my toddler loved the snow!!

Wondrous Weekend Escape at The Barn!

A group of friends and I just got back from a weekend excursion up to Warwick, NY. After doing some research online and not coming across The Barn beforehand, a neighboring bed and breakfast owner passed on the recommendation for this lovely place, and we are elated that he did! Located only a little over an hour out of the city, this place is ideal for an easy getaway, not to mention the town of Warwick is adorably quaint and filled with fun activities and events for all seasons.
The Barn went above and beyond our expectations. That cozy cabin in the woods feel is amplified by the excellent decor. Hannah and Pat and their son Max who live next door and run the Barn are wonderfully friendly hosts. We will be recommending The Barn to anyone and everyone looking for the perfect upstate adventure.

Fantastic, family-friendly vacation!

We spent a long weekend here and loved it so much we didn't want to leave! The owners are such generous and hospitable hosts, they make you feel so welcome, relaxed and at home. The rental part of the property is completely private but you have full use of the large surrounding garden, complete with slide, swings, hammock, kiddie pool and toys for the kids. Inside the property is everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable self-catering stay. There's also loads to do in the local area, including apple picking, wine tasting, breakfast at a farm, etc. We highly recommend the place and hope to stay there again!

Our family had a great stay at the barnhouse. It was clean!! The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, pans, cookie sheets, salt pepper and olive oil, etc., all of which are important to us. the grounds were nice, and our toddler played on the sand box and swings and ran around a bit. The owners are wonderful, kind, and attentive.

A nap ride away from NYC! This barnhouse vacation was better than we could have imagined. Perfect for our family of 3 with an 18 month old. Excellent, well equipped interior space with very comfortable beds, Has EVERYTHING you need for a home away from home. Beautiful exterior space with lush grass and animal visitors. well equipped with fun stuff for kids, like a trampoline, a swing set, and sprinklers.
