The village of Ponce sur le Loir has much to offer such as the nearby arts and crafts workshops, a medieval church which has beautiful frescos from XII century and another 16th century chateau with attractive gardens. The chateau provides an excellent and peaceful base for visiting other places such as the chateau of the Loire Valley, Tours, Angers, Orleans, Chartres and Le Mans. The Loir Valley is a charming historic region of the Plantagents with plenty to explore.
