Photos and Description of the Amalfi vacation villa rental Situated in the perfect location for exploring the whole of the Amalfi coast

A large beautiful private detached villa situated in a peaceful location yet central to explore all of the Amalfi coast. It is situated a 10 min drive above Amalfi. The villa is surrounded by lemon groves, olive trees and has an amazing view over the sea. The villa compromises two bedrooms, a double & twin, both spacious. A very large lounge area perfect for relaxing after a day of sight seeing! A large dining area which leads into a modern kitchen. The villa is NOT suitable for pushchairs or young children because of the steps. A degree of fitness is required when renting this villa however as the villa is situated a short walk from the village car park which includes steps! There are numerous lovely walks nearby including the walk down to Amalfi or up into the village Piazza where there are a few shops and restaurants and a grocers etc. There is also a bus service from the Piazza which runs into Amalfi every hour. Buses and boats from amalfi to Positano, Ravello, Sorrento, Capri

Places of interest include the ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. The active volcano'Versuvuis' is a popular tourist attraction. The beautiful gardens of Ravello offer the visitor breath taking beauty overlooking the sea. Positano is a wonderful place to take a day trip by boat from Amalfi to spot the rich and famous and watch the beach artists at work. Day trips to the isle of capri is a spectacular day out. The ancient temples of Pasteum are a magical day out surrounded by wonderful countryside. The museums at Naples are full of many amazing artifacts from the Roman period.

FREE car park in the village car park ,private secure parking available) Return transfer from Naples airport is 240 euros for 4 people and includes help with your luggage. Please ask if you would like to stop at a supermarket on the way for some supplies. No telephone at villa but very good mobile reception.We recommend using rucksacks instead of suitcases as these are easier to carry up and down the steps.
