Photos and Description of the Lake Berkley vacation house rental
3 bedrooms, + Queen sized Sofabed, 2 full bathrooms and ½ bathroom Sleeps 8,

A fully air conditioned property, the ground floor comprises of 1 half bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, dining room leading to the living area with a Queen Size Sofa Bed. Patio doors open out onto the lanai and communal grassed and barbecue area with views to the Club House and Pool. The living room has a new 42 inch flat screen TV with multiple channels via cable access. Also provided is Hi-Speed Wi-Fi internet access, and telephone with free local and national calls.

Recently carpeted stairs lead to the Master Bedroom with King Size Bed, en-suite and balcony overlooking the rear of the property. Bedroom 2 has a Queen Sized bed and Bedroom 3 is a twin. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the second bathroom / shower room.

All bedrooms have new flat screen TVs with cable access.

DISNEY WORLD MUST DO ATTRACTIONS - only 8 miles away: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. plus the Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon Water parks and Pleasure Island / Downtown Disney Village.

ORLANDO MUST DO ATTRACTIONS - only 14 miles away: Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure (including the brilliant Harry Potter ride), Sea World / Discovery Cove and Wet and Wild water park.

About Alan and Janet Barnard

We are both Londoner's who now live Norfolk, which is about 100 miles to the North East of London. We live in a rural location and about a 30 minute drive to the seaside.

We have 2 grown up children both working and living near London. At home, we have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 ponds with several species of fish

Why Alan and Janet Barnard chose Lake Berkley

We are from the UK and are both retired. We, have been visiting Florida's Kissimmee / Orlando areas for many years, first staying in Hotels and then moving on to house rentals. Having fallen in love with the area, we decided to buy in May 2011, and Lake Berkley being our favorite Resort area was the obvious choice for us.

The location of the Resort, and it's close proximity to the Disney, Universal and Sea World locations, plus the 24 hour security made the decision easy.

What makes this house unique

We always had this picture in our heads of having breakfast on our own balcony looking out over palm trees, and this house provided us with that

We enjoy eating out, and most restaurants that we use can be found within 5 miles of the property. And, although we are not 'Shop Till You Drop' people, we do enjoy shopping for bargains, and the 'Orlando Premium Outlets' - ( http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=17 ), and the new 'Loop' ( http://www.attheloop.com/kissimmee-orlando/ ), are only 20 - 25 minutes away.

So for us .....JUST PERFECT!

Situated within a gated community for additional security, the property is located just off of Hwy 192 and provides easy access for all the theme parks, with Disney World being only a 10-20 minutes drive and Universal / Sea World less than 30 minutes away. A 24 hour Walmart Supermarket is just 3 minutes away and all restaurants, shopping, and Florida's many golf courses are within easy driving distance. Easy access to Melbourne & Cocoa Beaches and the Gulf Coast via the Interstate. Lake Berkley Resort itself offers all the relaxation you could want at the end of an exciting but tiring day at the parks. I really enjoyed my stay at this townhouse. The townhouse was exactly the way the photos indicated. This is a great place for a small family who wants great amenities, cleanliness, and a secure location. The bedrooms are of good size and the kitchen is well stocked with appliances needed for your trip. The home is very clean and well maintained. There were many cable channels to choose from. The guards at Lake Berkley were very polite and professional. Although I didn't get a chance to enjoy the amenities of the resort, I will definitely consider this place again.

Fantastic stay

We stayed in this fab town house from 11th August for two weeks.
There was me wife and two son aged 11 and 14.
We were all impressed as soon as we arrived as everyting was nice and tidy and clean.
All the bedrooms were off a good size along with the 2 bathrooms.
My 11 old especially loved the tv in the room with loads of good channels( including Disney)
the kitchen had everyting we needed with a massive fridge.
The resort was nice and quiet and we always felt safe with the very efficient and friendly gate house security staff.
The pool was nice and warm but could get full very quick if the resort was busy.
As we were in the middle of August, i was surprised how quiet the resort was but this suited us perfrectly and we were not bothered but any noise.
I can recommend this town house enough and we would definately stay here again.
The owners always answered my questions promptly and gave me the info i needed.
The only negative was the management company Magical memories.
we told them twice that a chair was broke when we arrived and it remained broke for the two weeks we were there.
The did not listen to us but that is a very small thing in the whole holiday.
