Kemer is a small village, saying that though their is no need to leave the village, as the villa has all you should need. The only reason you have to leave the villa would be to buy your sundries etc for your stay. Kemer village has all you need and the villagers are only happy to help and practice their English. The contacts I will supply will also be there should you need anything. If you would like to explore the area- the cosmopolitan city of Fethiye is a mere 20 minutes drive or 25 mins by dolmus (local bus apx £2). Fethiye is the business hub of the area. It has great restaurants, bars and clubs and great all week long markets. A further short bus ride away is Hisaronu- a mountain tourist delight. A strip dedicated to bars and restaurants and great nightlife. A great place to shop for genuine 'fake' clothing, bags etc..and just a short ride from that is the famous Olu Deniz beach- A STUNNING clear blue water beach with all the activities you`d expect.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The villa is being offered at £500 per week in peak season for a limited time only- that is under £100 per person per week!! Villa sleeps 6 and I can allow up to 2 more people and will accept £100 for the two, as I cannot offer them actual beds. A sofa bed is there, but I will admit that it is not that comfortable. This is something I plan to address once I have some rental money come in. Please just let me know your concerns if any. I can also help with transfers to and from the villa- appx £95 (for both ways) for 4 people- usually around £140- again pls ask as other options are available.
  • Once all of your questions are answered and you are happy to go ahead with the booking, I will ask for a £200 holding deposit (please note, once this is received, it is non refundable as this is now a confirmed booking). 2 weeks before your holiday I would ask for the remainder of the price agreed and a further £200. This is obviously £200 over the rental price. This is simply a deposit against any unnecessary breakages etc.. I will be lenient though as a broken glass here or there is expected. Please Note: You may smoke outside the villa and on the balconies, but please do not smoke inside, as the next guest may not smoke. Thank you. Also: The villa is let from 3pm on the day of arrival and 10am the day of departure. Of course if I have no booking before or after then this does not matter. Just ask.
  • Air/Con and Electricity.
The ONLY thing that I will have to keep an extra eye on is the air conditioning units. I would ask that you do not use the air/con unnecessarily. Obviously if you are in and hot- feel free to pop them on, but not whilst the windows are open or when you are not in the room (this goes for the lights also- electricity is not cheap in Turkey and renting at this price alone does not make me a great profit). I just ask that you please be considerate. If I find that the electricity bill is WAY over a normal weeks use, I may need to hold some of the security deposit back. You will receive full details should this happen, but lets not go negative already huh :-)

Further details for this vacation villa rental in Fethiye - Olu Deniz area, Turkey

Things to do away from the villa........: Their is SO much to see and do in this part of Turkey, just type in OluDeniz area in your computer now to see the amazing Blue Lagoon, its natural beauty will leave you wanting more! This stunning beach area is open 10 months a year. It offers all of the beach activities you would expect including tandem paragliding (off the mountain- its great!!), micro lighting, jet skiing, donuts and so much more. It also offers restaurants, nightlife and market shops too. From here you can go on a 12 Island boat tour (including Butterfly Valley), which includes your lunch and transfers and is a whole days activity- for just £10 pp. Fethiye, meaning 'Land of Lights' is just that. A vibrant bustling city. Here is where you can see the cosmopolitan marina and beach area & then go on to the markets and restaurants and if your feeling energetic enough you can visit one of its nightclubs or bars. Hisaronu is a Tourist Paradise. If your looking for Restaurants, bars and clubs- look no further than here.

Jeep Safari / Coach Tours/ Car Needed Excursions: Most of the tours include all of the following stops in one day & lunch included for approx £15pp...Saklikent- is one of my favourites. It is a 328 feet long (100m) Canyon, second to the infamous Grand Canyon. Words cannot explain its mightiness. Just see how far you can make it down the gorge against free flowing clear, COLD mountain water & don`t forget that you need to get back too!!...KayaKoy- Ghost Town, is as it sounds airily spooky, but a must see destination. It was a settlement for the Greeks until they were made to leave back in 1922..Tlos is one of the oldest settlement sites. It is an old Ottoman site and is an interesting stop on the tour...Patara Beach. This amazing beach is over 21kms of soft sandy beach. It was the home of famous war lords such as Alexander the Great. Surrounding the beach area is ancient ruins and colosseums..Yakka Park. This place is a great stop. It is a trout restaurant where live trout swim through the middle of the bars, so you can pet a fish.

Day Excursions: Trips to Dalyan, more commonly known as Turtle Beach (3 guesses why!!) are available for approx £15 pp. A mud bath and lunch is included, plus the chance to see one of the last breeding grounds for the loggerhead turtles in the world! Trips to Ephesus & Pamukkale (the great white salt terraced pools and ancient city and amphitheatre) are appx £40 pp. This includes overnight accommodation in a 4/5* hotel with dinner and breakfast in the hotel with entertainment. In Marmaris there is a waterpark- tours will take you to Marmaris for £10, but the park entrance is excluded (sorry I do not know the entrance costs, but doubt it would be a lot). Marmaris is worth visiting anyway- it is like Calis and Olu Deniz, a beach resort with all you would expect. Other activities include white water rafting, Trips to Rhodes, horse riding, jeep safaris (recommend this over coach tours- take some sweets to throw for the local children in the mountains- makes getting between the stops much more fun).

Other Activities: Jeep Safaris, Boat Excursions, River Rafting, Trout Farms, Beach Water sports, Canyon Walking, Coach Tours, Markets, Turkish Baths and so much more...

My Review

Orlebar Croydon, UK
Review Submitted: September 11, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We have just returned from 2 weeks in Sabrina's villa, and have had one of our best family holiday's to date. The location was perfect for us, peaceful and rural, still with access to the tourist resorts. We had 4 small children with us, so a car for at least some of the holiday is needed. The location was perfect as the village is walking distance, and everything else a 30 minute taxi or bus ride away. We found the villa to be spacious, well kept, and a regularly maintained pool, there was space for everyone. We would recommend this for families or adults, as a great location for seeing the real turkey, as Kemer is not a tourist resort, whilst being near the beaches, shops and restuarants when you want all that hustle and bustle.
Everyone was so helpful from Sabrina, to her neighbours, the transfer people and the locals. We could not have asked for more from this holiday other than more time there.

Large Modern Villa - Heart of Turkish Countryside

Rigden leicester. UK
Review Submitted: August 29, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
My family of four including two teenage children were lucky enough to stay in this villa for 3 weeks in the August sun. The villa is very good, being spacious, new, and well designed with no less than three balconies overlooking the countryside and mountains. These mountains are so high that apparently the snow had only just melted from the tops of them in August! We're not into the beach scene so what made it for us was the pool including spa pool. It is very large and was a real luxury to have to ourselves. It is maintained daily and is where we spent the vast majority of our days. After staying in hotels you cannot beat having your own pool, no battles over sunloungers, splashes in the face and being swum over! If you need a drink, no expensive bar, just pop to the fridge where you have all your drinks to hand.
The villa is situated on a large plot at the head of a small complex of similar villas totalling about 15 in all. It is immediately adjacent to one of the single carriageway roads that runs into the village/very small town of Kemer. The road is not busy but when a car, lorry (but more likely tractor or moped) goes by they can be quite fast as you are near the bottom of a hill. This doesn't cause any major problem though. Our funniest passing sight was a cow standing proudly on the back of a trailer looking where she was going being pulled by the farmer on a tractor.
I would suggest that a car is really required when staying here. Kemer itself is just down the road about 1/3 of a mile away but for ease and getting to the more lively areas of Fethiye and Hisaronu, a car is really required. Kemer itself has all you need for day to day things. There is a small supermarket called "Tesko" near the town centre where you can get most things, including meat and charcoal for the barbeque at the villa, which we did a number of times. Most shops sell bread but go the local bakers in the town where the bread could not be fresher where a large loaf the size of a house costs 2 turkish lira, about 80p. Just a few doors down is the butchers where we got fresh steaks cut, again for the barbeque. For the men dont miss out on a turkish shave. The one to go to is the barbers on the same road between the butchers and bakers and for 7 turkish lira you will have an experience not to be missed. Take my word that it is not just a shave, more like a full head and shoulder service that goes on for more than half and hour.
Great holiday, can certainly recommend!

Stunning villa in peaceful location,

Review Submitted: May 16, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2008
Sabrina was very helpful with our booking, arranging airport transfers and having a hire car ready for us.
The accomodation was very roomy and bright with exellent facilities. The pool was large and maintained daily.
The area was very quiet and rural,
A selection of shops was nearby as well as resturants.
The people in the village were kind and helpful.I would reccomend a hire car for this as beaches and larger towns are about half hours drive from the villa although the bus service is very good and cheap.I would not hesitate to reccomend this villa to anyone who is looking for a holliday in the rural Turkey with good beaches nearby and lots of interesting places to visit.

We stayed at this villa this year it is a lovely clean modern villa. It has lovely gardens beautiful pool and the sun stays in the garden until sundown so you have beautiful sunny evenings, When we stayed I believe we were the first people to rent this villa and I have rented villas before and can honestly say that the owner had thought of everything for a comfortable stay.
It is set about a 15 minute walk from the village where you can buy provisions also there is a weekly market great for fruit and vegatables. The bus links to Fethiye the nearest large town are very good cheap and very frequent, also when you get there you can catch dolmuses on the Olu and Hisoronu.
The villa is in a very quiet road the only noise we heard was chickens and cows very peaceful, you could stand on one of the many balconys and look out over farmland, the locals always spoke and some even gave us lifts to the town and the market just stopping to pick us up as we walked towards the town.
We did not take our teenagers with us and I am not sure that they would have enjoyed the peaceful tranquil surroundings as much as we did, we came home very relaxed from lying in the sun wandering the towns and bars and just enjoying the total peace and beautiful setting of the lovely villa. We would not hesitate to rebook and stay at the villa again what more can I say about how good this holiday was.
