We discovered the high desert to get away from the stress of the large city. We fell in love with this area because of the silence, the pure air, the mystical open spaces, the trasparent light, the spectacular sunrises & sunsets and the canopy of stars. A true communion with nature.
Excellent place to unwind, to watch the star filled nights, commune with nature and charge your batteries. Lots of gentle trails for hiking and exploring. Gorgeous Joshua Tree National Park nearby. Lots of Art Galleries and famous Pappy & Harriet Palace only 5 min. away. Home of the world famous sound baths at the Integratron.
Thanks you for everything during our stay here at the Casita.
What a special way to kick off 2015! This desert oasis is truly unique and we feel Lucky to have experienced it.
Cheers to the next visit!
Rancho Mojave is a wonderful high desert destination escape.
Leave your normal daily routine behind and enjoy the beauty of this charming casitas.
It will rejuvenate your soul while imprinting the images of the desert in your memories.
This place is breathtaking. The owners are amazing and will respond to any questions or issues right away. The pictures listed definitely do not do the place and land justice. Pioneer town in which the property is located, is very unique and a short, beautiful drive from Yucca Valley. I will recommend this place to friends and family and am looking forward to staying again.
Rancho Mojave is a really special place. From every room in the house there's a gorgeous view of the incredible high desert, and we especially loved the view from the master bedroom -- we could watch the sunrise beyond the Joshua Trees from the comfort of our bed! The house is a real gem - beautifully decorated and upon arrival we immediately felt more relaxed. We loved the hammock nearby, the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, stargazing, and watching the roadrunners and rabbits outside. We can't wait to come back!
Excellent and beautiful property. Wonderful location! Close drive to Joshua Tree. Great for anyone that loves to hike and explore. Reasonable pricing. I recommend this to any group of 2-3 who need a desert getaway! Wonderful couple owns house - they were always available for any questions. Very accommodating and hospitable. I had a wonderful visit. :)
My congratulations to the owners! We will definitely come back to this wonderful place. (We were a group of 4 women, 1 American and 3 Europeans who are seasoned travellers). Beautiful surroundings and a beautiful house. In fact the interiors are much more heartwarming, comfortable and appealing than the pictures depict. And the hosts,Cecilia and Ron, are as welcoming and friendly as the house.
The amenities were ample, the beds were made including the sofa bed which allows for an extra 2 people to sleep beside the 2 queen size beds/rooms. Everything was very clean. The kitchen containing everything you need to prepare a full meal, microwave, toaster, water-kettle etc., also the basics (like salt and pepper and so on). So, all in all, a truly enjoyable stay. A place to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, a place to unwind, and to reconnect. Away from the noise. This house and surroundings are lovingly taken care off, with a lot of heart, and you can feel it! En-joy!!!
Fantastic little house in the middle of the high desert, but near enough drive to the wonderful Pappy & Harriet's and Joshua Tree. Photo's represent the property well and everything was clean and perfect. Would totally recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it all. Owners Cecilia and Ron were so helpful and informative and made us very welcome.
We are surrounded by mountains with gentle trails to hike.
Things to see: Orchid Farm in Landers, Intregraton in Landers, Noah Purifoy Sculpture Park, Pappy & Harriet Palace (Music club/restaurant) in Pioneer Town, the Swap Meet in Yucca Valley, Antique Markets, in Y. Valley & 29 Palms, etc.
