Apartment in prime Swiss Alp winter ski resort and summer vacation rental in Crans Montana, Switzerland 250meters from the ski lift and town. Beautiful views and warm atmosphere in this comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with large terrace. Spacious, charming living room with fireplace, wooden parquet floors and sweeping views of the surrounding Alps and the town of Crans Montana. The building is a typical chalet style .
Off the living room is the lovely large terrace with dining table and chairs that enjoys sunshine all day and the perfect spot for relaxing and bathing in the sun. There is a seperate kitchen that is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven and cooker with 4 hot plates, dishwasher all pots, pans and dish wares. A corridor leads to the sleeping area and the 2 bedrooms, one with a large queen size bed and the other with a twin room with bunk beds. There is a bathroom with tub, bidet, shower, WC and handbasin and also a second bathroom with a WC and handbasin.

The apartment building has an elevator and the apartment is located on the third floor. The recently remodelled apartment has been furnished with typical furnishings from the area and high quality bedding linens and curtains. At your disposal is also a garage for parking 1 car, a ski storage area and a laundry with washer and dryer.
For those using public transport this is a privileged location, you can walk to the ski lift and to the town of Crans Montana, Switzerland and there is also a bus stop in front of the apartment building. When the snow is at it's best you can literally ski home and ski to the lift!
The towns are famous worldwide for their celebrity visitors and sportsman. There are many wonderful restaurants both in the towns, on the lakes and on the mountains. The perfect location for the golf enthusiast in the summer months and also for family vacations, every sport is available here and there are many wonderful activities for the children.
Surroundings:
Crans Montana is a first class world ski location in Switzerland and offers the best views in Europe of the whole Alps. For the shopping enthusiasts there are all the major top boutiques. There are also casinos, discotheques, nightclubs, cafes, ballooning, festivals, cinema with programmes in english, cross country skiing, ice skating and children slopes, horse riding both indoor equestrian and also trail rides in the summer, swimming pool, tennis and language schools are also available. Despite all this the towns are both quaint, typical and small.
In the summer one can trek or simply stroll on the mountains from the apartment and reach a wonderful restaurant for taking in a relaxing lunch, sun and views whilst the children play in the playground. There a a number of lakes for fishing, swimming and sailing. Perfect location for those who wish to explore Switzerland as you can reach many towns and cities for day trips such as Zermat, Genova, Lausanne and Bern.
Ski:
Over 100 miles and 28 lifts, the pistes turn Crans-montana into a popular venue for ski races. The resort regularly finds itself in the spotlight of international sports scene, playing host to numerous ski and snow-board competitions. Wooded setting with magnificent panoramic views.Modern, well-designed lift system, with few liftlines. Golf course provides excellent, gentle beginner slopes. Very sunny slopes and excellent cross-country trails. Highest lift: 3000m (9842ft) Lowest lift: 1500m (4921ft) Number of slopes: 50 Total piste length: 160km Longest run: 12km Snowparks: 1 Snow cannons: 60 Glacier: Plaine-Morte Cross country: 40km. The ski schools are plentiful and good. There are MANY activities for children, including a Bibi fun park with regular activities. Tobaggan and tubing are also available.
Golf:
The Omega European Masters (formerly Swiss Open) is from 6-9 September 2007. The Golf Season is from May till October. Championship Severiano Ballesteros (18 holes, par 72, HDCP max. 36) Jack Nicklaus (9 holes, par 35, AP) Noas, Chermignon d'en bas (9 holes, par 3, without HDCP) and Super-Crans (9 holes, without HDCP). The Golf Club House is a to 12 minute walk from the apartment
