This unique luxury 5300 sq ft home is nestled on an acre of tropical charm with a 450 foot sandy driveway.There is deeded beach access directly across the road. Secluded on the pool side of the house is a tiny private beach and a private dock on Roosevelt Channel which leads you on the left to Jensens and Pine Island Sound and on the right to Blind Pass ( Sanibel/Captiva bridge ) and The Gulf of Mexico. This makes it a very unique location and an excellent place for fishing, kayaking, canoeing and of course boating. Right in front of you is Buck Key Island Wild Life Sanctuary. This unique home, full of character and style is truly a refuge and a retreat for the body, mind and soul.

Manatee Cove is a large luxury bay front home with its own dock and a small sandy beach area, ideal for beach chairs. This spacious, traditional island style home has a heated pool which is surrounded by a tiled patio and a safety/privacy fence. This charming Captiva style home has 5 bedrooms (2 king, 1 queen, 2 twin ) and 3.5 bath, a futon and a sofa bed gives additional sleeping accommodation .

The main living area has a double height vaulted ceiling with an internal balcony, this large living area has hide away sliding glass doors which opens onto a large balcony with a breath taking view of Roosevelt Channel.

The ground floor has a large '' chill out '' den opening directly onto the pool area. This '' upstairs/downstairs '' affect gives a great sense of space and '' time out '' .

Captiva Island is a narrow island with the gulf on one side and the bay on the other side , it is joined to the mainland by a 3 mile bridge at The Sanibel Causeway. Captiva is a unique destination and forbids the big names like McDonald's, Wal-Mart, Pizza Hut and other multiples. Most of the shops and restaurants are owner run, giving a very low key, easygoing, personal and friendly atmosphere to the island. There are 3 golf courses the island, The Dunes, Beachview and The Sanctuary.

There are cycle lanes absolutely everywhere. Crime does not exist. A great place for kids. Over half the island is a nature reserve and you can drive, cycle or canoe through most of it. The famous Florida Everglades are just an hour away.
