Beer village is unspoilt and fishing is still an important part of life here. Situated on the Jurassic Coast, the area is steeped in history and outstanding natural beauty. The area is fantastic for walkers, with beautiful coast-line and countryside, and stunning sea and landscapes, making Beer an all year round destination. Apart from the village itself, with its local shops and galleries, the property is within easy reach of other pretty, traditional, seaside towns and villages such as Branscombe, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth, many of which have sandy beaches. For big name high street shopping, Exeter is about half an hour away. There are also many family attractions close by including Pecorama, which is just around the corner from the property, Beer Quarry Caves, Seaton Tramway, the Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth, Crealy Adventure Park close to Exeter and Bicton Gardens. Beer Regatta week is always popular, as is the Sidmouth Folk Festival.
