In a historic building in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam, this very spacious studio is modern in style. With wooden floors throughout, it has white, wood-beamed ceilings and large windows.
At the back of the Noorderkerkconcerten Studio is the bathroom with shower. The bedroom area faces the dining table and chairs, and open-plan lounge with flat-screen cable TV and single sofa bed.
With tiles and wooden decor, the small kitchen includes a full-size fridge, oven and stove. Kitchenware is provided and there is a supermarket within a 4-minute walk. A weekly farmers market is held on Saturdays in the North Market Square, less than one minute's walk away.
Anne Frank House is a 10-minute walk away, while the famous Nine Streets of the Jordaan Kalverstraat shopping street and Dam Square are within 15 minutes' walk.
Set in a side street, Studio Noorderkerkconcerten is around a 15-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station, offering public transport to the whole of the city.
With some of Amsterdam's most beautiful canals, the peaceful Jordaan district is dotted with galleries, boutiques, characteristic 'brown' pubs and restaurants. North Market hosts an organic farmers' market on Saturdays and a flea market on Monday mornings. Well as the shaft Typically Dutch Nine Streets, sights in the Jordan include the Westerkerk Church, Rembrandt's burial place, and Anne Frank House.
