Spacious villa with 5 bedrooms for 8 people with lots of privacy

In quiet, next to beach urbanization on the New Golden Mile between San Pedro and Estepona you will find our spacious villa. The villa is situated on a 850 m2 fully fenced plot has a 10 x 5 m swimming pool and private parking. The house has satellite TV, Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen. Private, secluded garden with sun loungers, barbecue and terrace with table and chairs for outside dining. Ideal for a (large) family with children or possibly 2 families. Also ideal for people who want to play golf. The beach 100 meters away is always quiet. Within a radius of 50 km. There are about 30 beautiful golf courses, some lovely villages, marinas, shopping malls, water parks and a beautiful hinterland. The house has two floors. Downstairs has a large living room (11 x 5 m), a kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a storage room, a bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs a large master-bedroom, a spacious bathroom, a separate toilet, a walk-in closet, a smaller bedroom, a study and a balcony (6 x4 m.) with seaview.

Very comfortable home close to the beach

We just returned from a week stay in this villa and it was hard to leave. The owners were very accommodating from the first email inquiry and the villa was really matching the description provided, and even better than we expected. Puck is an artist and her beautiful paintings decorate the entire house. My father who happens to be a painter as well felt immediately in his element. The top floor offers a spacious office space and beautiful ocean views from the terrace. Internet speed was good throughout the house. Every one in our family had a wonderful time. The villa is very spacious and offers several sitting areas in the garden where you can enjoy this peaceful location. We traveled with our dog and having a completely fenced garden was a great peace of mind, the beach is very quiet and just 100 meters walk from the house, perfect for walks and strolls along the water front.
If you don't like cooking there are two restaurants on the beach offering fresh Spanish cuisine (at reasonable prices)with live musical entertainment at night; on Thursdays there is a Flamenco show which is well worth a visit. You will find a wider selection of dining venues all within a ten minute drive.
The kitchen was well furnished with all the equipment and appliances you need to cook a great meal every day. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine available. The dining room is spacious as well and you also have the option to dine in the shade under the trees by the pool.
The Mercadona supermarket is just a short walk away and offers fresh fish and food supplies at unbeatable prices. They have a good Spanish wine selection as well to accompany each meal. If you are looking for other a different shopping experience, the malls of the Corte Ingles and the trendy boutiques are just five minutes away by car in Marbella and Puerto Banus, if you don't drive a car you can take the bus which stops at the gas station, just 100 meters from the house.
The 10 x 5 meter pool is very nice and sunny all day. A gardener comes twice a week to maintain the garden and clean the pool filters. The owner inquired if there was anything he could do to make our stay more comfortable but I couldn't find anything that could be improved. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and can only highly recommend this home to any future visitor. Thank you again Menno and Puck for your warm hospitality.

Perfect house - perfect location

We spent two weeks in this wonderful house. It is located 200 meters from the sea, with oceanview from the oversized 1 floor balcony. Everything you need is at hand: The beach is 200 meters away and groceries 8 minutes walk away, in a large Mercadona supermarket. A couple of lesser stores are even closer. The combination of this top location combined with the size and quality of the house, including a 10X5 private pool, is extraordinary good, and not easy to match. Inside the house is cool and very well shaded, so there is no need for air-condition. Also, this location so close to the sea makes the evenings and nights a little cooler than just a few km's inland. My wife and I occupied the first floor, with a oversized bedroom with two adjacent rooms, toilet and large bathroom. Downstairs our three teenagers ruled. The house is clean and tidy. The furnitures are not the newest, but everything is in order. The garden and pool are wonderful and well maintained. There are offroad parking in a carport. If you can, avoid to rent too big a car. The lane in to the house is narrow. Well situated between Estepona and Marbella, you are 10 minutes from Puerto Banus, the El Cortes Ingles superstore, a few minutes more from La Canada, so you are close to the action. If you are fond of super service and large portions, go and visit the El Cazador restaurant in the marina of Estepona.
This was our seventh trip to Costa del Sol, and the fourth to El Saladillo. This urbanization is in my view an extremely good value for money location, and this house, owned by a nice dutch couple who lives in Ronda, is by far the best we have been to.

The villa is in a quiet, coastal urbanization (El Saladillo) on the 'New Golden Mile 'between the lovely villages of San Pedro (6 km) and Estepona (10 km) Directly opposite the urbanization is the smaller Cancelada. Nearby are the famous marina 'Puerto Banus' (10 km) and the world famous Marbella (15 km). There is a variety of beautiful golf courses in the immediate vicinity, a great riding school, where you can horseback riding, tennis courts and a plethora of opportunities for other activities. Plenty of shops and restaurants.
